Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has emerged as a powerful tumor treatment tool due to its advantages including minimal invasiveness, high selectivity and thus dampened side effects. On the other side, efficacy of PDT is severely frustrated by limited oxygen level in tumors, promoting combination with therapies, particularly photothermal (PTT) for bolstered outcomes. Meanwhile, nanomedicines that could respond various stimuli microenvironment (TME) provide tremendous benefits combined phototherapy efficient hypoxia relief, tailorable drug release activation, improved cellular uptake intratumoral penetration nanocarriers, etc. In this review, we will introduce merits combining PTT PDT, summarize recent important progress phototherapies their combinations dominant regimen, chemotherapy based on smart sensitive TME focus sophisticated designs, discuss challenges future developments nanomedicine-mediated phototherapies.

The unique physiological structure of women has led to a variety diseases that have attracted the attention many people in recent years. Disturbances reproductive system microenvironment lead progression various female tumours and pregnancy disorders. Numerous studies shown epigenetic modifications crucially influence both oogenesis foetal development. m6A, modification at mRNA level, consists three parts, namely, writers, erasers, readers, which are involved several biological functions, such as nucleation stabilisation mRNAs, thereby regulating development diseases. In this manuscript, we delineate constituents their roles, advancements understanding m6A within maternal–foetal immunological context. addition, summarise mechanism gynaecological provide new perspective for targeting delay clinical practice.

Exosomes are small nanoscale vesicles with a double-layered lipid membrane structure secreted by cells, and almost all types of cells can secrete exosomes. carry variety biologically active contents such as nucleic acids proteins, play an important role not only in intercellular information exchange signal transduction, but also various pathophysiological processes the human body. Surface-enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) uses light to interact nanostructured materials gold silver produce strong surface plasmon resonance effect, which significantly enhance molecules adsorbed on nanostructures obtain rich fingerprint sample itself or probe ultra-sensitivity. The unique advantages SERS, non-invasive high sensitivity, good selectivity, fast analysis speed, low water interference, make it promising technology for life science clinical testing applications. In this paper, we briefly introduce exosomes current main detection methods. We describe basic principles SERS progress application unlabeled labeled exosome detection. This paper summarizes value SERS-based assays early tumor diagnosis.

Nanogels represent promising drug delivery systems in the biomedical field, designed to overcome challenges associated with standard treatment approaches. Stimuli-responsive nanogels, often referred as intelligent materials, have garnered significant attention for their potential enhance control over properties such release and targeting. Furthermore, researchers recently explored application of nanogels diverse sectors beyond biomedicine including sensing catalysts, or adsorbents environmental applications. However, fully harness practical systems, further research is required better understand pharmacokinetic behaviour, interactions between bio distributions, well toxicities. One future stimuli-responsive multifunctional use agents cancer treatment, offering an alternative conventional This review discusses various synthetic methods employed developing efficient carriers treatment. The investigations explore, key aspects multifunctionality properties, toxicity concerns. discussions presented herein aim provide readers a comprehensive understanding smart context therapy.
