on

“Dhakki”
months

June
September,
2014.

observed
insects
including
Rhynchoforus
ferrugineus,
Palaminus

nilgirienses
(Staphylinidae),
Sparostes
striatulus
(Carabidae),
Coccinella
septumpunctata
(Coccinellidae),
Clerada
apicicornis
(Lygidae),
Monomorium
indicum
(Formicidae)
and
Blata
orientalis
(Blattidae).
All
three
stages
(larva,
pupa
adult)
Rhynchophorus
ferrugenius
were
collected
from
within
it
found
as
major
insect.
Among
pollinating
insects;
beetles,
bees
(honey
bumble
bees)
flies
collected.
In
addition
above
mentioned
insects,
myriads
arachnids
viz.
Peucitia
prasina,
Acanthodan
crassus,
fortis
snails
Monoca

leaves
