Recently, seafood supply chain networks have encountered obstacles that new sustainability regulations pandemic brought forward. In this study, a novel network is developed fresh seafood, considering aspects, to ideally balance financial aspect while enhancing recycling waste products. Moreover, four metaheuristics employed conquer computational complexity exact solution methods. To evaluate performance algorithms in addressing proposed model, some numerical examples three different scales designed. The obtained results from metaheuristic optimizers assessed based on five effective measures. facilitate statistical analysis process, each measure normalized using relative deviation index indicator. Abstract Million tonnes of agricultural waste are generated annually worldwide. Agricultural wastes possess similar profiles to the main products but lower in quality. Managing these is costly and requires strict regulation minimise environmental stress. Thus, by-products could be repurposed for industrial use, such as alternative resources aquafeed reduce reliance on fish meal soybean meal, fertilisers enrich medium growing live feed, antimicrobial agents, immunostimulatory enhancers. Furthermore, utilising other can help mitigate existing economic dilemmas. Therefore, transforming into valuable helps sustain industry, minimises impacts, benefits industry players.
