As human life expectancy keeps increasing, ageing populations present a growing challenge for clinical practices. Human is associated with molecular, structural, and functional changes in variety of organ systems, including the kidney. During process, kidney experiences progressive decline as well macroscopic microscopic histological alterations, which are accentuated by systemic comorbidities like hypertension diabetes mellitus, or preexisting underlying diseases. Although per se does not cause injury, physiologic normal processes likely to impair reparative capacity thus predispose older people acute disease, chronic disease other renal Mechanistically, cell senescence plays key role ageing, involving number cellular signaling mechanisms, many may be harnessed international targets slowing even reversing ageing. This review summarizes characteristics highlights latest progresses deciphering envisages potential interventional strategies novel therapeutic preventing improving hope maintaining long-term health function across course.

China is one of the countries with heaviest burden gastric cancer (GC) in world. Understanding epidemiological trends and patterns GC can contribute to formulating effective prevention strategies. The data on incidence, mortality, disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) from 1990 2019 were obtained Global Burden Disease Study (2019). The estimated annual percentage change (EAPC) was calculated evaluate temporal disease GC, package Nordpred R program used perform an age-period-cohort analysis predict numbers rates incidence mortality next 25 years. The number incident cases increased 317.34 thousand 612.82 2019, while age-standardized rate (ASIR) decreased 37.56 per 100,000 30.64 EAPC -0.41 [95% confidence interval (95% CI): -0.77, -0.06]. Pronounced DALYs observed. Background To study the corresponding strategies to control inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), a comprehensive assessment of burden is required. Herein, we present long-term trends in IBD China over last three decades, as well its epidemiological features. Methods We characterized using GBD 2019 methods and results, based on prevalence, incidence, mortality, years lost (YLLs), lived with disability (YLDs), disability-adjusted life (DALYs) estimated DisMod-MR 2-1. also used joinpoint age-period-cohort (apc) analysis interpret characteristics compare them global prevalence trends. Results The age-standardized incidence mortality rates both sexes changed from 1.47 (95% CI: 1.24, 1.74) 3.01 2.59, 3.50) 0.86 0.59, 1.16) 0.30 0.24, 0.35) per 100,000 people 1990 2019. Abstract We aimed to estimate the incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) of stomach cancer at global, regional, national levels. Stomach resulted in 1.3 million (1.2–1.4 million) incident cases, 9.5 hundred thousand (8.7–10.4 thousand) deaths, 22.2 (20.3–24.1 DALYs 2019. The age-standardized incidence rate, death rate DALY were 15.6 (14.1–17.2), 11.9 (10.8–12.8), 268.4 (245.5–290.6) per 100,000 person-years, respectively. Between 1990 2019, global decreased by − 30.5% (− 36.7 22.9), 41.9% 47.2 36.3), 45.6% 50.8 39.8), In most numbers higher among males than females. A considerable burden was attributable smoking a high-sodium diet. Although rates have decreased, continued growth absolute some regions, especially East Asia, poses major public health challenge. To address this, responses should be tailored fit each country’s unique situation. Primary secondary prevention strategies with increased effectiveness are required reduce mortality cancer, particularly populations high disease burden.
