Cancer occurrence and development are closely related to increased lipid production glucose consumption. Lipids the basic component of cell membrane play a significant role in cancer processes such as cell-to-cell recognition, signal transduction, energy supply, which vital for rapid proliferation, invasion, metastasis. Sterol regulatory element-binding transcription factor 1 (SREBP1) is key regulating expression genes cholesterol biosynthesis, homeostasis, fatty acid synthesis. In addition, SREBP1 its upstream or downstream target implicated various metabolic diseases, particularly cancer. However, no review biology has yet been published. Herein, we summarized roles mechanisms biological cells, including modification, metabolism reprogramming, mitochondrial metabolism, immunity, tumor microenvironment, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, cycle, apoptosis, ferroptosis. Additionally, discussed potential prognosis, drug response sensitivity chemotherapy radiotherapy, drugs targeting corresponding pathway, elucidating clinical application based on pathway.

As Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) drugs, Huangqi and Danshen are always applied in combination for spinal cord injury (SCI) treatment based on the compatibility theory of TCM. Astragalus Polysaccharidesis (APS) Tanshinone IIA (TSIIA) main active ingredients Danshen, they both possess neuroprotective effects through antioxidant activities. However, low solubility poor bioavailability have greatly limited their application. In recent years, selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) drawn enormous attention as potential delivery carrier drugs. In this study, TCM ingredients-based SeNPs surface decorated with APS loaded TSIIA (TSIIA@SeNPs-APS) were successfully synthesized under guidance Such design improved benefits high stability, efficient highly therapeutic efficacy SCI illustrated by an improvement protective TSIIA. The vivo experiments indicated that TSIIA@SeNPs-APS displayed efficiency cellular uptake long retention time PC12 cells. Furthermore, had a satisfactory effect against oxidative stress-induced cytotoxicity cells inhibiting excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, so to alleviate mitochondrial dysfunction reduce cell apoptosis S phase cycle arrest, finally promote survival. can protect neurons rats enhancing GSH-Px activity decreasing MDA content, which was possibly via metabolism SeCys2 regulating selenoproteins resist damage.TSIIA@SeNPs-APS exhibited promising anti-oxidation therapy SCI, paved way developing synergistic nanotechnology improve well establishing novel treatments stress-related diseases associated Se regulation.

Dietary plant polysaccharides, one of the main sources natural possess significant cancer prevention activity and potential development value in food medicine fields. The anti-tumor mechanisms polysaccharides are mainly elaborated from three perspectives: enhancing immunoregulation, inhibiting tumor cell growth invasion metastasis. immune system plays a key role progression, immunomodulation is considered pathway for or treatment. Although much progress has been made revealing relationship between huge challenges still met research polysaccharides. Results suggest that certain polysaccharide types glycosidic linkage forms significantly affect biological immunoregulation. At present, vitro effects immunoregulation dietary widely reported articles; however, vivo deserving further investigation. In this paper, aspects behind polysaccharides' achieved through cells mediatory gut microbiota systematically summarized, with aim encouraging future on use prevention.

Astragali radix is a traditional medicinal herb with long history and wide application. It frequently used in prescriptions other materials to replenish Qi. According the classics of Chinese medicine, attributed properties such as Qi replenishing surface solidifying, sore healing muscle generating, inducing diuresis reduce edema. Modern pharmacological studies have demonstrated that some extracts active ingredients function antioxidants. The polysaccharides, saponins, flavonoids offer beneficial effects preventing controlling diseases caused by oxidative stress. However, there still lack comprehensive research on effective components molecular mechanisms through which exerts antioxidant activity. In this paper, we review radix; summarize content, bioavailability, mechanisms; reference for clinical application Astragalus future development novel
