Abstract The challenge of antimicrobial resistance requires new solutions, and Rhodiola sp. is a promising candidate due to its rich medicinal history. This review focuses on sp., especially R. rosea , highlighting phytochemical constituents, such as salidroside, rosavins, other phenolics, their potential. We investigate the efficacy against various pathogenic bacteria, suggesting value in combating resistance. Additionally, compounds are being investigated both direct antimicrobials modifiers that increase antibiotics. extracts salidroside modulate gut microbiota, thereby affecting health physiological metabolic disorders. illustrates comprehensive therapeutic potential emphasize importance understanding complex interactions between phytochemicals, effects, effects microbiota well need for in-depth research. Further studies will be crucial development holistic treatment approaches. Finally, highlighted an important natural resource fight microbial pathogens antibiotic Research should continue further unravel pharmacological health-promoting thus address public challenge.

In recent years, molecular imprinting has emerged as a promising strategy for developing highly selective and sensitive sensors various analytes. this study, we present the fabrication characterization of an electrochemical sensor based on detection salidroside, bioactive compound found in Rhodiola rosea. The employs modified glassy carbon electrode functionalized with multi-walled nanotubes (MWCNTs) working electrode. molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was prepared using acrylamide functional monomer MWCNTs supporting material. MIP-based exhibited exceptional sensitivity selectivity towards showing linear correlation between logarithm salidroside concentration reduced peak current range 1 nM to μM, low limit 0.51 nM. demonstrated excellent reproducibility stability, relative standard deviation (RSD) 3.1% parallel measurements 94.8% retained response after 7-day storage period. spiked recovery experiments rosea samples yielded high accuracy precision, rates ranging from 96% 99% RSDs 1% 4%. developed offers powerful reliable approach holding great potential applications pharmaceutical herbal medicine industries.

Rhodiola rosea L. extract (RSE) is mostly known for its adaptogen properties, but not antiarthritic activities, therefore monotherapy and combination with low-dose methotrexate (MTX) was studied. The collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) model used to measure the functional score, change in hind paw volume (HPV). Both parameters had significant effects. Based on these preliminary results, an adjuvant (AA) further applied assess another parameters. experiment included animal groups: healthy controls, untreated AA, AA administered RSE (150 mg/kg b.w. daily, p.o.), by MTX (0.3 twice a week, treated of RSE+MTX. RSE+MTX significantly reduced HPV increased body weight. decreased when compared monotherapy. plasmatic levels inflammatory markers (IL-6, IL-17A, MMP-9 CRP) were MTX+RSE treatment. didn't influence any In CIA, arthritic summary, sub-therapeutic effective improving

Salidroside (SAL), a phenolic natural product present in Rhodiola rosea, are commonly used the treatment of various ischemic-hypoxic diseases, including intestinal ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury. However, their efficacy and potential mechanisms IR injury have not been investigated. The objective study is to investigate pharmacological mechanism action SAL on using network pharmacology approach combined with experimental validation. In study, we Traditional Chinese Medicine Systematic Pharmacology (TCMSP) database analysis platform Comparative Toxicogenomics Database (CTD) predict possible target genes SAL, collected relevant from GeneCards DisGenet websites, summary data screen common genes. Then, protein-protein interaction (PPI) was constructed analyzed by STRING Cytoscape 3.8.2 above intersecting gene ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathway analyses were performed component-target-pathway constructed, followed use molecular docking dynamic simulation verify binding conformation between candidate targets further explore Finally, an vivo model mouse superior mesenteric artery ligation established assess anti-intestinal effect assessing histopathological changes small intestine HE staining, detecting inflammatory factor expression ELISA kit, key protein Western blotting.A total 166 1740 disease-related retrieved, 88 overlapping proteins obtained as therapeutic targets.
