Ageratum conyzoides L. is widely used for the treatment of skin wound in some communities Asia, Africa, and South America, including Vietnam. In this study, we demonstrated that 70% ethanol extract A. leaves collected Bidoup National Park, Nui Ba, Lam Dong, Vietnam had properties would be advantageous wounds. Firstly, found contained 64.9±2.58 mgGAE/gE polyphenols 79.33±1.03 mgQE/gE flavonoids, antioxidant activity with IC50 131.74±2.67 µg/mL. This was also proven to have antimicrobial activities against pathogenic bacteria, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. faecalis, coli. We could inhibit generation nitric oxide LPS-activated Raw 264.7 cells, indicating its vitro anti-inflammatory activity. And finally, first time, promote proliferation fibroblast NIH-3T3 cell line. All together, these findings support traditional use plant treatment.

The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor technology is a novel optical analysis method for studying intermolecular interactions. Owing to in-depth research on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in recent years, comprehensive and specific identification of components target interactions has become key yet difficult tasks. SPR gradually been used analyze the active TCM owing its high sensitivity, strong exclusivity, large flux, real-time monitoring capabilities. This review sought briefly introduce principle SPR, provide historical new insights into application TCM.

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a chronic interstitial lung disease of unknown etiology. Currently, drugs used to treat IPF in clinical practice exhibit severe side effects and limitations. To address these issues, this paper discusses the therapeutic preclinical targeted (such as STAT3 TGF-β/Smad pathway inhibitors, chitinase PI3K phosphodiesterase etc.) natural products on IPF. Through summary current research progress, it found that possess multitarget effects, stable efficacy, low nondrug dependence. Furthermore, we discuss significant prospects product molecules combating by influencing immune system, expecting analytical data will aid development new or investigation active ingredients for potential treatments future.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused a severe epidemic due to acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Recent studies have found that patients do not completely recover from infections, but instead, suffer variety of post-acute sequelae SARS-CoV-2 infection, known as long COVID. The effects COVID can be far-reaching, with duration up six months and range symptoms such cognitive dysfunction, immune dysregulation, microbiota dysbiosis, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, myocarditis, pulmonary fibrosis, cough, diabetes, pain, reproductive thrombus formation. However, recent shown naringenin naringin palliative on various COVID-19 sequelae. Flavonoids naringenin, commonly in fruits vegetables, positive effects, including reducing inflammation, preventing viral providing antioxidants. This article discusses the molecular mechanisms clinical treating above diseases. It proposes them potential drugs for treatment COVID, it inferred exhibit extended medications, future likely serving nutraceuticals or supplements comprehensive alleviation manifestations complications.

Abstract Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a chronic and progressive lung disease characterized by extensive alterations of cellular fate function excessive accumulation extracellular matrix, leading to tissue scarring impaired respiratory function. Although our understanding its pathogenesis has increased, effective treatments remain scarce, fibrotic progression major cause mortality. Recent research identified various etiological factors, including genetic predispositions, environmental exposures, lifestyle which contribute the onset PF. Nonetheless, precise mechanisms these factors interact drive are not yet fully elucidated. This review thoroughly examines diverse molecular mechanisms, key signaling pathways involved in PF, such as TGF‐β, WNT/β‐catenin, PI3K/Akt/mTOR. It also discusses current therapeutic strategies, antifibrotic agents like pirfenidone nintedanib, explores emerging targeting senescence. Emphasizing need for omni‐target approaches overcome limitations therapies, this integrates recent findings enhance PF development more prevention management ultimately improving patient outcomes.

Nigella sativa (NS) is an annual herb belonging to the Ranunculaceae family, also known as black cumin or seed. This plant has been used since ancient times due its therapeutic properties and proven effective in gastrointestinal, respiratory, cardiovascular, infectious, inflammatory conditions. In this review, aim highlight effects of Arab countries “the that cures any disease”, which are provided by phytochemical compounds composition, such thymoquinone, p-cymene, α-thujene, longifolene, β-pinene, α-pinene, carvacrol. These confer antioxidant effect seeds, leading a significant decrease ROS potent anti-inflammatory effect. Also, NS seeds may have synergistic with other drugs, chemotherapeutic agents antibiotics, lead reduction dose, improved effect, could overcoming obstacles drug resistance. The studies review showed potential be agent both monotherapy adjuvant. Although there demonstrating NS, need for much more extensive research clinical trials clearly established objectives so mechanism action active substances better understood. With data far, can food production small quantities administered short periods. Further investigations understanding profile most mode administration, well clearer perspective on toxicological NS.
