Introduction Forest medicinal compound systems in agroforestry ecosystems represent a multi-layered cultivation approach that utilizes forest resources efficiently. However, research on how these affect soil nutrients and microbial communities is limited. Methods This study compared the chemical properties of Bletilla striata (C) grown alone versus with apple (PB), pear (LB), peach trees (TB), aiming to understand impact health diversity. Results Soil GAB showed increased levels essential but lower pH ammonium nitrogen control. Significant improvements organic matter, total phosphorus, potassium were observed TB, PB, LB systems, respectively. The bacterial diversity significant changes phyla indicative healthier ecosystem. correlation between was stronger than fungal communities. Discussion Integrating B. fruit enhances may lead acidification. Adjustments such as using controlled-release fertilizers amendments like lime could mitigate negative impacts, improving systems.

Abstract Polysaccharides are promising biomolecules with lowtoxicity and diverse bioactivities in food processing clinical drug development. However, an essential prerequisite for their applications is the fine structure characterization. Due to complexity of polysaccharide structure, partial degradation a powerful tool analysis, which can effectively provide valid information on backbone branching glycosidic fragments complex polysaccharides. This review aims conclude current methods employed structural characterization, discuss molecular mechanisms, describe solution properties degraded In addition, effects conformational relationships between bioactivities, such as antioxidant, antitumor, immunomodulatory activities, also discussed. Finally, we summarize prospects challenges will be great value scientific elucidation structures potential applications.

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) have received widespread attention for their ability to metabolize extracellularly produce polymers with structure-supporting functions. However, a comprehensive understanding of the synthesis exopolysaccharides (EPS) from LAB structure, function, and application areas is still lacking, limiting development value. In this paper, EPS-producing Lactobacillus species, EPS extraction, isolation purification, structural identification chain conformation characterization, functional activities, current status in dairy industry problems are comprehensively reviewed. The progress structure characterization was mainly focused on conformation, whereas little interest relationship between properties. Besides, has variously biological functions, like promoting proliferation probiotic bacteria, etc. And presented fine potentiality be stabilizers thickeners fermented milk products. Notably, production relatively low, it necessary pay research yield improvement strategies effects, provide scientific theoretical basis its food industry.
