Abstract In the rapidly evolving landscape of education, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool with potential to revolutionize teaching and learning processes. However, successful integration AI in education depends on trust acceptance teachers. This study addresses significant gap research by investigating dynamics 677 in-service Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM) teachers Nigeria towards AI-based educational technologies. Employing structural equation modelling for data analysis, our findings reveal that anxiety, preferred methods increase trust, perceived benefits significantly influence teachers' edtech. Notably, lack human characteristics does not impact among STEAM Additionally, reports gender moderation effect AI. These insights are valuable policymakers stakeholders aiming create an inclusive, AI-enriched instructional environment. The results underscore importance continuous professional development programs teachers, emphasizing hands-on experiences build sustain confidence integrating tools effectively, thus fostering potentials education.

Artificial intelligence (AI) tools like ChatGPT demonstrate the potential to support personalized and adaptive learning experiences. This study explores how can facilitate self-regulated processes computer programming. An evaluative case design guided investigation of ChatGPT’s capabilities aid independent learning. Prompts mapped elicited across tools: instructional materials, content tools, assessments, planning. Overall, provided comprehensive, tailored guidance on programming concepts practices. It consolidated multimodal information sources into integrated explanations with examples. also effectively assisted planning by generating detailed schedules. However, its interactivity assessment functionality demonstrated shortcomings. effectiveness relies learners’ metacognitive skills seek help assess limitations. The implications include provide Bloom’s two-sigma tutoring benefit at scale.
