To address climate change and environmental concerns, the chemical process industries are increasingly adopting green technology exploring eco-friendly waste management practices. Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES) have emerged as promising solvents with diverse applications in separation processes, catalysis, drug design, a lot more. However, ideal way for modeling ionic interactions within hydrogen-bond acceptor (HBA) during DES synthesis remains uncertain, theoretical insight on formation mechanism of energetically stable DESs from choline chloride (CHL) urea (URE) is yet to be explored. In this study, we investigate different approaches (no bond, generic or single bond) molecules thermodynamic feasibility forming an using through calculations (PM3, HF, DFT). Our findings indicate that choice approach does not significantly affect outcomes across calculation levels. The H-X pathway emerges most viable route CHL: GLC synthesis, offering strong binding energy high exothermicity. This provides robust solution synthesizing potential various industries. Researchers can consider alternative levels when DFT becomes cost-prohibitive optimize computational costs. study contributes valuable insights into design promoting environmentally sustainable cost-effective processes.

This study aimed to extract polysaccharides from Tenebrio molitor using ultrasound-assisted deep eutectic solvent (DESs) and evaluate their structural features, as well antimicrobial, antioxidant, α-amylase inhibitory activities. Various DESs were tested for extraction, the process was optimized response surface methodology (RSM). A preliminary analysis of conducted infrared spectrum. The characterized by measuring pH, viscosity, conductivity, refractive index, density. optimal extraction agent parameters determined. Significant differences in conductivity observed among DESs, whereas index density not significant. Choline chloride-lactic acid identified agent. a DES molar ratio 1:2.1, water content 27 %, an temperature 70 °C, time 44 min, resulting yield 18.62 %. extracted exhibited strong effects against Salmonella, along with antioxidant activity demonstrated that can be efficiently showcasing significant biological activities, including antibacterial, properties. These findings highlight potential applications valuable resources.
