Abstract A growing body of evidence indicates that the anticancer effect immune system can be activated by immunogenic modulation dying cancer cells. Cancer cell death, as a result activation an immunomodulatory response, is called death (ICD). This regulated occurs because increased immunogenicity cells undergoing ICD. ICD plays crucial role in stimulating activity therapy. therefore innovative route to improve responses associated with releasing damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs). Several conventional and chemotherapeutics, well preclinically investigated compounds from natural sources, possess immunostimulatory properties induction. Natural have gained much interest therapy owing their low toxicity, cost, inhibiting interfering different mechanisms, which are critical progression. Therefore, identifying ICD-inducing potency presents agents promising potential immunotherapy. Naturally derived believed act immunoadjuvants they elicit stress DAMPs. Acute exposure DAMP molecules activate antigen-presenting (APCs), such dendritic (DCs), leads downstream events cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) killer (NKs). inducers may interesting approach induction; however, parameters determine whether compound used inducer should elucidated. Here, we aimed discuss impact multiple inducers, mainly focusing on agents, including plant-derived, marine molecules, bacterial-based compounds, release corresponding signaling cascades triggering responses. In addition, synthetic for also discussed.

Abstract Immune disorders have become one of the public health problems and imposes a serious economic social burden worldwide. Ginsenosides, main active constituents ginseng, are regarded as novel supplementary strategy for preventing improving immune related diseases. This review summarized recent research progress ginsenosides in immunomodulation proposed future directions to promote development application ginsenosides. After critically reviewing immunomodulatory potential both vitro vivo even clinical data humans, we provided perspective that regulated system through activation cells, cytokines, signaling pathways such MAPK, PI3K/Akt, STAT, AMPK, well positively affected organs, gut flora structure, systemic inflammatory responses. However, evidence safety efficacy is insufficient, remain incompletely characterized. We believe this will provide valuable reference further on dietary supplements with effects.
