Ovarian cancer is a malignant tumor that primarily forms in the ovaries. It often goes undetected until it has spread to pelvis and abdomen, making more challenging treat fatal. Historically, natural products their structural analogues have played pivotal role pharmacotherapy, especially for cancer. Numerous studies demonstrated therapeutic potential of Linum usitatissimum against ovarian cancer, but specific molecular mechanisms remain elusive. This study combines data mining, network pharmacology, docking analysis pioneer an innovative approach treatment by identifying potent phytochemicals. Findings current revealed Apigenin, Vitamin E, Palmitic acid, Riboflavin, Isolariciresinol, 5-Dehydro-avenasterol, Cholesterol, Pantothenic Nicotinic Campesterol, Beta-Sitosterol, Stigmasterol, Daucosterol, Vitexin suppress growth influencing AKT1, JUN, EGFR, VEGFA. Kaplan-Meier survival spotlighted VEGFA as diagnostic prognostic biomarkers However, imperative conduct vivo vitro examinations ascertain pharmacokinetics biosafety profiles, bolstering candidacy L. therapeutics.

Hypertension is a known risk factor for clear cell renal carcinoma (ccRCC), yet the underlying mechanisms remain elusive. Studies have confirmed that renin-angiotensin system (RAS) plays role beyond regulating blood pressure, influencing various aspects of tumor development and metastasis. Generally, activation angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE)/angiotensin II (Ang II)/angiotensin type 1 receptor (AT1R) axis elevates pressure promotes progression, while 2 (ACE2)/[Ang-(1-7)]/Mas (MasR) antagonizes these effects. Consequently, many cardiovascular drugs targeting RAS may possess both hypotensive antitumor properties. However, in ccRCC controversial. To explore this, we reviewed relevant literature. Surprisingly, apart from ACE2, facilitate progression metastasis ccRCC. This unexpected finding suggests caution when using inhibitors patients. review provides an overview RAS, highlights research advances ccRCC, elucidates current status RAS-targeted treatment discusses challenges future directions this field. In conclusion, upregulation other effector peptides receptors expedite progression. Therefore, careful consideration needed patients with hypertension. synthesis available evidence crucial informing clinical management guiding novel therapeutic strategies.
