Abstract Hilla city, located in Babil Governorate, suffers from high traffic congestion, because it lacks ring roads to solve the problem of internal congestion. Therefore, this study highlights importance helping Three were proposed for city and changes performance are discussed. Each these will connect external connected “60th Street” (the artery city) with each other outside city. Through economic evaluation that was conducted, became clear best route can be chosen is proposal No. 2, as most economical among rings; its total cost amounted approximately 90.5 billion Iraqi dinars. In order investigate impact on level service access time, Vissim program used. It has been shown adding a road contribute reducing congestion by 24%. also noticed 60th Street improved Level (F) (C). Finally, future volumes calculated analyzed year 2030. found worsened one level; shifted (C) (D) Street.

The expansion of road networks profoundly affects ecological systems by intensifying habitat fragmentation, altering hydrological processes, and exacerbating pollution. However, our understanding the multi-scale spatiotemporal coupling between quality remains limited. Thus, taking Fuzhou City in Southeastern China as a case study (~12,000 km2), we apply bivariate spatial autocorrelation, geographical detectors (GDs), geographically weighted regression (MGWR) to explore interactions quality. Results reveal following: (1) From 2016 2021, kernel density estimation (KDE) analysis network indicates coordinated growth both urban rural areas, with an increase 0.759 km/km2. Analysis based on remote sensing-based index (RSEI) shows decrease from 2000 2016, then trend increasing gradually center area. (2) Predominant tradeoff relationships exist KDE RSEI while notable synergistic emerge ΔKDE ΔRSEI. (3) Multi-scale GD identifies principal factor influencing ΔRSEI, MGWR reveals their significant associations at optimal scale 3000 m. These findings highlight unequal impact quality, underscoring pivotal role changes its dynamics. They offer essential insights for sustainable transport planning.

Prefabricated cantilever systems (PCSs) are essential for mountainous road infrastructure, yet their structural behavior under traffic loads remains insufficiently studied. This study innovatively integrates scaled experiments, finite element simulations, and field test data to develop validate a full-scale PCS model extreme conditions. The results reveal that the beam–column junction is highly vulnerable stress concentrations, risking concrete cracking. To address this, novel prestressed reinforcement design proposed, optimizing rebar placement reduce local stresses enhance integrity. Ultimate load analysis confirms prestressing improves stiffness, resistance, ductility. provides systematic framework optimization, promoting its application in complex engineering environments.

Abstract Understanding the evolutionary patterns of ecological quality in transport corridor areas and their driving mechanisms is essential for maintaining regional sustainable development. However, an integrated assessment ecology plateau corridors still lacking. This study focuses on Sino‐Nepalese Transport Corridor (SNTC) comprehensively evaluates spatio‐temporal evolution eco‐environmental from 2000 to 2021 based remote sensing data quantifies explores potential factors. The results indicate significant spatial heterogeneity SNTC, with overall bipolar “northeast‐southwest” distribution pattern. area poor worse largest (32,471.75 km 2 ), accounting about 47.20% total distributed bare land Yarlung Tsangpo River valley. SNTC influenced by multiple factors including human activities, climate, topography. Grazing intensity, population density, digital elevation model are main negative disturbance factors, while temperature, precipitation, gross domestic product, promote quality. In particular, partially offset impact activities. These will provide useful information understanding complex effects activities natural region formulating conservation policies.
