The risk of inadequate management agro-waste is an emerging challenge. However, the economic relevance valorization one key strategies to ensure sustainable development. Among agro-waste, oilseed waste and its by-products are usually seen as mass after extraction oils. Oilseed especially cakes a potential source protein, fiber, minerals, antioxidants. contain high value-added bioactive compounds which have great significance among researchers develop novel foods having therapeutic applications. Moreover, these might be employed in pharmaceutical cosmetic industries. Thus, result desirable characteristics, can more valuable wide application food business along with preparation supplements. current review highlights that plentiful wastes or from oilseeds wasted if underutilized materials not properly valorized effectively utilized. Hence, promising utilization their only assists overcome environmental concerns protein insecurity but also helps achieve goals zero sustainability. Furthermore, article covers production industrial applications role phytochemicals treatment chronic diseases.

Utilizing lignocellulosic biomass wastes to produce bioproducts is essential address the reliance on depleting fossil fuels. However, lignin often treated as a low-value-added component in wastes. Valorization of into value-added products crucial improve economic competitiveness biorefinery. Monomers obtained from depolymerization could be upgraded fuel-related products. lignins conventional methods are low β-O-4 content and, therefore, unsuitable for monomer production. Recent literature has demonstrated that extracted with alcohol-based solvents exhibit preserved structures high content. This review discusses recent advances utilizing alcohols extract β-O-4-rich lignin, where discussion based different alcohol groups considered. Emerging strategies employing extraction, including deep eutectic solvent, flow-through fractionation, and microwave-assisted reviewed. Finally, recycling or spent also discussed.

Abstract This research aimed to study on nanocellulose production from palm bunch using process design and cost analysis. Choline chloride based deep eutectic solvent pretreatment was selected for high-purity cellulose separation at mild condition, followed by nano-fibrillation mechanical treatment. Three types of choline chloride-based solvents employing different hydrogen-bond donors (HBDs) namely lactic acid, 1,3-butanediol oxalic acid were studied. The optimal extraction condition chloride/lactic (ChLa80C) empty 80 °C bleaching yielding 94.96%w/w content in product. Size reduction ultrasonication high-pressure homogenization produced 67.12%w/w raw material. Different morphologies tunable the forms nanocrystals, nano-rods nanofibers dissimilar solvents. work offered a sustainable environmentally friendly as well provided analysis DES overview operating production. Application fabrication highly functional biodegradable material nanomedicine, electronic, optical, micromechanical devices is achievable near future.

An attractive strategy in the pursuit of sustainability valorization lignocellulosic biomasses for production bioethanol. This approach relies on bioconversion wood agricultural waste, which abundant globally. They represent considerable sources fermentable sugars that can be recovered through enzymatic hydrolysis. However, presence lignin waste makes it recalcitrant to hydrolysis, reduces efficiency process. Therefore, a pretreatment preceding hydrolysis highly necessary order disrupt resistant structure woody biomass.
