Photocatalytic degradation of different organic dyes under simulated sun light irradiation found an increasing attention in the recent years. To development high-efficient photocatalyst, this work, we prepared NiFe2O4 nanoparticles by chitosan-assisted route and characterized FT-IR, XRD, UV-Vis, SEM TEM analysis. In addition, photodegradation methylene blue (MB) as a model wastewater has been studied effect important parameters such initial pH solution, catalyst dose, MB concentration time was investigated. The highest 98.99% reported at optimal conditions, 10, photocatalyst dose 0.04 g, 50 mg/L 150 min. kinetics experimental data analysis using Langmuir-Hinshelwood model, result predicted that process obeyed from pseudo-first-order with strong correlation value (R2) 0.9936, k = 0.03082 min−1 t1/2 22.49 Reusability revealed efficiency change (initially) to 95.68% (five cycles). results as-prepared showing great towards dye, ease use, good stability potential be used for other dyes.

Cadmium (Cd) is a toxic heavy metal contaminant in agricultural soils. Phytoremediation using hyperaccumulator plants promising remediation strategy. This study investigated the effects of TiO2 NPs on Cd uptake and accumulation ramie (Boehmeria nivea L.) grown Cd-spiked soil. The aim was to evaluate potential application enhance phytoextraction efficiency for removing from contaminated Ramie cultivated soil spiked with 5 mg/kg Cd, or without 500 NPs. results showed significantly increased concentrations roots, stems, leaves by 35%, 75%, 278% respectively, compared control plants. levels reached 146 roots 102 bioconcentration factor rose 21.6 29.2 translocation 0.3 0.7 nanoparticles. indicates bioavailability shoots. higher accumulation, especially leaves, demonstrates improve ramie's capacity. With NP treatment, decreased an estimated 20–30% after 8 weeks cultivation, indicating enhanced phytoextraction. provides evidence that can phytoremediation like Cd-contaminated
