Date palm is the most important fruit crop in Middle East, North Africa, and Southwest Asia. However, a large amount of waste generated through various industries related to date processing. press cake (DPC) main by-product honey or syrup industry, where it gives 17–28 g DPC /100 usually discarded as waste. Due its higher content nutrients bioactive compounds, can be valorized inclusion food nonfood applications. The potential applications promising ingredient innovative substrate different were discussed this review, including chemical composition, nutritional value, functionality, current DPC, limitations, future trends.

Abstract Nowadays, biomass‐derived lactic acid serves as a significant foundational chemical in the pursuit of sustainable production various materials. Nevertheless, current fermentation process faces limitations due to challenging retrieval product from broth, resulting gypsum waste stoichiometric quantities. In this work, we demonstrate efficacy Zr‐UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) effective adsorbents recovery broth. The MOF beads have been manufactured successfully and were applied recover solution experimental conditions optimized. results show that adsorbent has good ability up 98.8% adsorb produced its broth at pH value 6.5, (MOF) dosage 0.625 g, an initial concentration 15 mg/L, temperature 298 K, within time 4 h. data obtained adsorption demonstrated satisfactory fit with Langmuir isotherm model (with R 2 0.958), kinetics 0.970), thermodynamic results, confirming spontaneous exothermic nature process. regeneration experiment showed efficiency remained above 90% even after undergoing seven cycles.

Soybean protein isolates and their hydrolysates are considered as one of the most high-quality proteins among plant proteins, current research has shown that they have potential probiotic functions. The purpose this study was to investigate effects digested soybean (dSPI) peptides (dPEP) on L. plantarum K25 alone two bacteria when co-cultured with E. coli. It showed dSPI dPEP promoted growth metabolism K25, had a better effect. Besides, still organic acid secretion coli, treatment more effective than dSPI. Moreover, reduced survival rate coli K25. These results some extent explained cooperation produce thereby weaken
