T-2 toxin is a dangerous natural pollutant and widely exists in animal feed, often causing toxic damage to poultry, such as slow growth development, immunosuppression, death. Although geese are considered the most sensitive poultry toxin, exact caused by elusive. In present study, total of forty two 1-day-old healthy Yangzhou male goslings were randomly allotted seven diets contaminated with 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, or 2.0 mg/kg for 21 d, effects exposure on performance, feather quality, tibia blood parameters investigated. The results showed that significantly inhibited feed intake, body weight gain, shank length growth, organ development (e.g., ileum, cecum, liver, spleen, bursa, tibia) dose-dependent manner. addition, more serious feathering abnormalities observed exposed high dose (0.8, mg/kg), which mainly sparsely covered short, dry, rough, curly, gloss-free feathers back. We also found hypertrophic chondrocytes tibial plate exhibited abnormal morphology nuclear consolidation loss, accompanied necrosis excessive apoptosis under exposure. Moreover, triggered erythropenia, thrombocytosis, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase activity, well urea nitrogen, uric acid, lactic dehydrogenase levels. Collectively, these data indicate had an adverse effect liver kidney goslings, providing crucial information toward prevention control contamination feed.

Abstract T‐2 toxin is a member of class A aspergilloides toxins, one the most prevalent mycotoxins that contaminate feed and food. Direct ingestion animals or contaminated by can cause various animal diseases. Butyrate an organic fatty acid featuring four‐carbon chain, which commonly found in form sodium butyrate (NaB). NaB has several biological functions pharmacological effects. However, role alleviating toxin–induced hepatorenal toxicity not been explored. In this study, 240 juvenile quails were evenly assigned into 4 groups. The experimental setup comprised four groups: control group received standard diet; diet containing 0.9 mg/kg toxin; 0.5 g/kg NaB; treatment both NaB. We evaluated histopathological changes kidney liver on Days 14 28 explored molecular mechanisms involving oxidative stress, inflammation, expression nuclear xenobiotic receptors (NXRs). Our results showed exposure–induced inflammation activating stress pathway modulating NXRs to regulate related CYP450 isoforms, ultimately leading injury kidney, whereas ameliorated injury. These offer novel insights underlying protective effects mitigating quails. Practical Application have well described animals, but studies birds are limited. With development society, market scale farming expanding, value meat eggs increasing; there urgent need clarify harm its mechanism.

Many studies have shown that ingestion of the T-2 toxin is harmful to articular cartilage. However, mechanisms underlying damaged cartilage induced by not been elucidated. Twenty-four SD rats were randomly divided into and control groups. In group, 12 administered 4% absolute ethanol gavage, in (100 ng/g, BW/day) gavage. After sacrificed, knee joints collected, RNA was extracted using TRIzol reagent for sequencing (RNA-seq). Differentially expressed mRNA identified based on p < 0.05 | log2 (fold change) > 1. The toxin-related genes obtained from GeneCards database. An online tool (https://www.bioinformatics.com.cn) used enrichment analysis. Hematoxylin eosin (H&E) staining observe cartilage, immunohistochemical (IHC) validate differentially proteins. H&E shows number cells decreased significantly, arrangement chondrocytes became disordered group. RNA-seq analysis 195 upregulated 89 downregulated mRNAs top immune-related biological processes (Gene Ontology) regulation hormone secretion, peptide transcription involved cell fate commitment. KEGG pathway revealed IL-17 tumor necrosis factor signaling pathways significantly expressed, also genes. Also, Mmp3, Tnf, Mapk10, Ccl11, Creb5, Cxcl2, Cebpb enriched two pathways. showed levels Mmp3 Tnf proteins increased which consistent with results. This study critical roles TNF toxin.
