Abstract Globally, the incidence of colitis is on rise. Rice bran (RB) a promising natural dietary supplement. The research aimed to explore how RB impacts in mice caused by dextran sulfate sodium. Notably, administering led better weight control, colon lengths, and decreased disease activity index. Furthermore, it was discovered that boosts antioxidant abilities, elevates short-chain fatty acids concentrations, fortifies intestinal mucosal barrier, lowers histopathology scores, suppresses inflammation. Ileibacterium vane's relative abundance greater mice. Administering reduction comparative vans exhibited an increased Akkermansia muciniphila. These findings provide scientific basis for development as supplement improve gut microbiota dysbiosis enhance comprehensive utilization value RB.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's and ulcerative colitis, is a complex disorder with an unknown cause. However, the dysbiosis of gut microbiome has been found to play role in IBD etiology, exacerbated immune responses defective intestinal barrier integrity. The can also be potential biomarker for several diseases, IBD. Currently, conventional treatments targeting pro-inflammatory cytokines pathways IBD-associated do not yield effective results. Other therapies that directly target dysbiotic outcomes are emerging. We review health its as diagnostic, prognostic, therapeutic This explores emerging advancements microbiome-associated alterations IBD, such nanoparticle or encapsulation delivery, fecal microbiota transplantation, nutritional therapies, microbiome/probiotic engineering, phage therapy, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), proteins, herbal formulas.

The aim of this review is to summarize and analyze up date information related the impact fermented dairy plant foods on modulation anti-inflammatory pathways MAPKs NF-κβ associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This work shows potential modulate MAPK pathways. Also, effect microbiota are discussed. Fermented could act as IBD adjuvants due their bioactive components metabolite content, including peptides, short-chain fatty acids, exopolysaccharides, phenolic compounds, dietary fiber. food metabolites interact key pro-inflammatory cytokines IBD, such ERK 1/2, JNK, p38, p50, p65. Available suggests that compounds from signaling proteins in be used adjuvant treatments for alleviation disease.

Traditional colitis treatment strategies have issues such as side effects and poor lesion targeting. In this study, a milled black rice particle-stabilized Pickering emulsion (BR-5-DMN) has been developed delivery vehicle for 5-demethylnobiletin (5-DMN) to treat colitis. The alleviating of three 5-DMN systems: BR-5-DMN, Tween 80 upper gastrointestinal delivery, soybean oil with most entering the colon were compared. BR-5-DMN exhibited superior effects, enhancing absorption metabolic conversion. It also improved intestinal barrier function microbiome homeostasis, restoring short-chain fatty acid synthesis, especially acetic acid, through releasing dietary fiber, bioactives from rice, in colon. Black particles promoted growth Bifidobacterium while inhibiting Ruminococcus, both synergistically increased Akkermansia abundance. This study highlights potential grain emulsions effective vehicles by regulating release synergistic interactions.
