The 2D hybrid sub‐1 nm nanomaterials (HSNMs) hold great promise in catalysis due to the large surface areas giving rise more catalytic centers exposed and possible synergetic effect of multiple components. It is a useful strategy fabricate highly active selective HSNMs catalysts by combining inorganic compound with polyoxometalates (POMs) at scale, since POMs are usually easier accept or lose electrons, which possibly regulate valence state component leading enhanced properties. Inspired this, from function‐oriented perspective, three sorts MnO‐POMs nanosheets (HSNSs) successfully prepared, perform outstanding activity selectivity chemoselective C–H oxidation alcohols aldehydes. Molecular dynamic (MD) simulations study formation mechanism HSNSs, density‐functional theory (DFT) calculations prove introduced slightly oxidize Mn 2+ , thus improving oxidizability MnO Herein, new idea for functionally guided precise synthesis provided.

Abstract A novel catalyst which carbon hybrid supported platinum nanoparticles were synthesized by our group for the oxidation of benzyl alcohol derivatives. In this study, was utilized derivatives to benzaldehyde compounds in aqueous toluene at 80 °C. The high yields and mild conditions presence developed method. Additionally, prepared have been characterized Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), high-resolution electron micrograph (HR-TEM), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Diffraction (XRD). mean particle size determined XRD technique found be 2.83 nm parallel with TEM analysis. analysis also indicated that Pt evenly dispersed on support material. Finally, Pt@CHs shown stable reusable reaction, providing ≤95% conversion after its 3rd consecutive use reaction various compounds.

A dioxidotungsten(VI) complex, [WO 2 L(CH 3 OH)]·0.5(CH OH) ( 1 ), was prepared by the reaction of WCl 6 and tridentate ONO‐donor Schiff base ligand H L ) that obtained from 2‐hydroxy‐1‐naphthaldehyde with 4‐aminobenzoic hydrazide. Both were characterized various analyses including nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR) UV–Vis spectroscopy, elemental analysis. Single crystal X‐ray analysis used to determine structure which revealed there is a free ‐NH group in its structure. Therefore, heterogeneous catalyst supporting on propionyl chloride‐functionalized silica gel. The synthesized supported Si‐W diffuse reflectance (DRS), thermogravimetric (TGA), FT‐IR, scanning electron microscope (SEM), photoelectron (XPS), energy‐dispersive (EDS), powder diffraction (XRD) analyses. utilized oxidation benzyl alcohol derivatives O under reflux condition at air atmosphere. effects concentration oxidant, temperature, nature solvent catalytic performance resulting compound investigated results indicated they have considerable effect activity selectivity . recovered several times reused for reaction. FT‐IR SEM, TGA, EDS, XRD are no differences between fresh one. show complex active stable benzylic alcohols depends condition.
