The gut microbiota constitutes a complex ecosystem, comprising trillions of microbes that have co-evolved with their host over hundreds millions years. Over the past decade, growing body knowledge has underscored intricate connections among diet, microbiota, and human health. Bioactive polysaccharides (BPs) from natural sources like medicinal plants, seaweeds, fungi diverse biological functions including antioxidant, immunoregulatory, metabolic activities. Their effects are closely tied to which metabolizes BPs into health-influencing compounds. Understanding how interact is critical for harnessing potential health benefits. This review provides an overview focusing on its role in diseases obesity, type II diabetes mellitus, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, cardiovascular diseases. It explores basic characteristics several impact microbiota. Given significance health, we summarize these BPs, particularly terms immunoregulatory activities, blood sugar, hypolipidemic effect, thus providing valuable reference understanding benefits treating These properties make promising agents preventing comprehensive mechanisms by exert through opens new avenues developing targeted therapies improve

Bile acids (BAs) play a crucial role in the human body's defense against infections caused by bacteria, fungi, and viruses. BAs counteract not only through interactions with intestinal bacteria exhibiting bile salt hydrolases (BSHs) activity but also directly combat infections. Building upon our research group's previous discoveries highlighting of combating infections, we have initiated an in-depth investigation into between microbiota. Leveraging existing literature, offer comprehensive analysis relationships 16 key This encompasses (e.g., Clostridioides difficile, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Enterococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Bacteroides, Clostridium scindens, Streptococcus thermophilus, Saccharomyces boulardii, butyricum, Lactic Acid Bacteria), fungi Candida albicans), viruses Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus, norovirus). Abstract Endometritis is mostly caused by childbirth or postpartum uterine infection. It one of the important reasons leading to female infertility. Caffeic acid (CA) and its derivatives are widely found in some foods traditional Chinese medicine, have biological activities such as antioxidant, free radical scavenging, anti‐inflammatory, anti‐infection. In this study, we aimed explore effect CA on Staphylococcus aureus ‐induced endometritis. The contents TNF‐α IL‐1β were detected ELISA S. endometritis model. Western blot assay was used detect expression AMPKα/mTOR/HIF‐1α pathway related proteins GPX4 expression. addition, concentrations MDA, GSH, iron tested kits. Compared with model group, treatment significantly alleviated injury, MPO activity, inflammatory factors IL‐1β, NF‐κB activation. Meanwhile, inhibited ferroptosis, confirmed decreased MDA concentration up‐regulated GSH level. Furthermore, attenuated HIF‐1α phosphorylated mTOR increased AMPK conclusion, inhibits inflammation ferroptosis regulating signalling alleviate mice.

Abstract Chronic endometritis is associated with the imbalance of female reproductive tract microbiota and pathogenic microbial infection. This study aimed to identify specific changes in endometrial microbiome patients explore how Clostridium tyrobutyricum ( C.t ) influences progression mice for further elucidating pathogenesis. For this purpose, tissues from 100 participants were collected divided into positive, weakly negative groups based on CD138 levels, while differences detected analyzed using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Staphylococcus aureus S. )-induced mouse model was established, followed by treatment , inflammatory response, epithelial barrier, TLR4/NF-κB pathway evaluated. Results showed that α- β-diversity significantly lower positive group compared or groups, where had more unique operational taxonomic units. The abundance Proteobacteria found be increased, Actinobacteria Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes reduced group, area under curve value 0.664. Furthermore, resulted alleviation -induced barrier damage, activation mice. Clinical samples analysis revealed diversity altered having mechanistic investigations alleviated inactivating pathway. findings are envisaged provide a diagnostic therapeutic potential endometritis.
