The COVID-19 pandemic influence mental health in both infected and non-infected populations. In this study we examined if individually tailored internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT) could be an effective treatment for psychological symptoms related to the pandemic. Following recruitment included 76 participants who were randomized either a group (n = 37) or waitlist control 39). received 8 modules (out of 16 possible) during weeks with weekly therapist support. We collected data on depression, experienced quality life, anxiety, stress, anger, insomnia, PTSD, alcohol use before, after at one year follow-up. Abstract Digital technologies have been used to support mental health services for two decades, but the COVID-19 pandemic created a particular opportunity greater utilization and more data-driven assessment of these digital technologies.
