Over
the
past
three
decades,
China’s
rapid
economic
development,
social
transformation,
and
COVID-19
pandemic,
have
reshaped
landscape
of
mental
disorders
self-harm
burden.
The
raw
data
were
sourced
from
Global
Burden
Diseases,
Injuries,
Risk
Factors
Study
2021.
Our
study
presented
burden
by
disability-adjusted
life-years
(DALY)
at
both
national
provincial
levels
in
China
1990
to
2021,
age
sex.
We
also
analysed
association
between
situation
disease
Pearson’s
correlation.
While
overall
age-standardised
DALY
rates
exhibited
minimal
change
(-0.3%)
over
this
period,
that
declined
dramatically
(-69.8%).
From
2019,
depressive
anxiety
saw
significant
reductions,
particularly
among
working-age
adults.
However,
depression
increased
significantly
elderly.

Background
Psychological
