Over the past three decades, China’s rapid economic development, social transformation, and COVID-19 pandemic, have reshaped landscape of mental disorders self-harm burden. The raw data were sourced from Global Burden Diseases, Injuries, Risk Factors Study 2021. Our study presented burden by disability-adjusted life-years (DALY) at both national provincial levels in China 1990 to 2021, age sex. We also analysed association between situation disease Pearson’s correlation. While overall age-standardised DALY rates exhibited minimal change (-0.3%) over this period, that declined dramatically (-69.8%). From 2019, depressive anxiety saw significant reductions, particularly among working-age adults. However, depression increased significantly elderly. pandemic reversed gains burden, especially young adults, but only transiently With increasing eating rose substantially (+70.4%). These findings underscore necessity for tailored interventions targeting high-risk groups, including addressing elderly, adults following economically prosperous regions.

Abstract Background Psychological distress, such as depression and anxiety, impacts cardiovascular disease (CVD) prognosis management. Illness comprehension is essential for effective treatment, but biases can lead to suboptimal outcomes. We explored psycho-cardiovascular (PCD) patient characteristics, with a specific focus on treatment choices from patients' perspectives in China, improve management strategies. Methods enrolled 864 PCD patients Chinese hospitals across 11 provinces. Tools included the seven-item General Anxiety Disorder scale, nine-item Patient Health Questionnaire, self-designed illness comprehensibility survey. used χ2 test, univariate, multivariate logistic regression examine characteristics. Results Of 834 patients, over 90% experienced mild moderate anxiety depression, yet less than 10% received treatment. 52.90% of had high comprehension. Among group, there were fewer labourers (19.30% vs. 26.40%; P < 0.05), older individuals (39.20% 46.90%; those lower household income (15.60% 30.50%; 0.05). A greater proportion group lacked insurance (17.50% 10.00%; they more highly educated (42.90% 32.10% college education). Additionally, frequently psychological consultation (24.00% 5.10%; 0.05) therapy (7.70% 2.30%; These groups preferred tertiary (71.66% 63.33%; clinics (40.14% 25.90%; In comparison, low prioritised cost (32.65% 46.41%; favoured transition community (16.55% 25.38%; Conclusions More CVD departments experience rates. Different levels are associated variations willingness, considerations, health care preferences, medication choices, knowledge acquisition methods.

Depression has become a widespread health concern today. Understanding the influencing factors can promote human mental as well provide basis for exploring preventive measures. Combining LassoNet with recurrent neural network (RNN), this study constructed screening model ,LassoNet-RNN, identifying of individual depression. Based on multi-wave surveys China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) dataset (11,661 observations), we analyzed multivariate time series data recognized 27 characteristic variables selected from four perspectives: demographics, health-related risk factors, household economic status, living environment. Additionally, importance rankings were obtained. These results offered insightful recommendations theoretical developments practical decision making in public health.
