The logistics industry is a major source of global carbon emissions and energy consumption. Cooperative split delivery are effective methods for reducing improving distribution efficiency, respectively. However, prior research on pollution routing problems (PRP) has primarily focused centralized cooperation not fully explored the potential as strategy addressing PRPs. This study fills this gap by integrating decentralised to PRP domain, offering an innovative approach problem. A bi-objective mixed integer linear model with request selection put forward In addition, $\varepsilon $ -constrained hybrid evolutionary algorithm proposed herein, which combines Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure-Evolutionary Local (GRASP-ELS) method. results experiments demonstrate that outperforms well-known multi-objective optimization algorithms: NSGA-II, MOPSO, SPEA-II. also provides several managerial insights through sensitivity analysis. can provide basis decision making companies improve efficiency reduce emissions.

Due to the complexity and magnitude of optimisation models that appeared in sustainable supply chain management (SSCM), use meta-heuristic algorithms as competent solution approaches is being increased recent years. Although a massive number publications exist around SSCM, no extant paper explicitly investigates role meta-heuristics (forward) chain. To fill this gap, literature review provided on applied SSCM by analyzing 160 rigorously selected papers published end 2020. Our statistical analysis ascertains considerable growth years reveals contribution 50 journals forming literature. The results also show current hybrid overtaking pure meta-heuristics, genetic algorithm (GA) non-dominated sorting GA (NSGA-II) are most-used single- multi-objective algorithms, aspects sustainability mostly addressed connection with product distribution routing vehicles pivotal operations management, last but not least, economic-environmental category has been further noticed scholars. Finally, detailed discussion findings recommendations for future research provided.

This paper provides a systematic overview of machine learning methods applied to solve NP-hard Vehicle Routing Problems (VRPs). Recently, there has been great interest from both the and operations research communities in solving VRPs either through pure or by combining them with traditional handcrafted heuristics. We present taxonomy studies on paradigms, solution structures, underlying models, algorithms. Detailed results state-of-the-art are presented, demonstrating their competitiveness approaches. The survey highlights advantages learning-based models that aim exploit symmetry VRP solutions. outlines future directions incorporate solutions address challenges modern transportation systems.
