This research delves into the underlying impacts of farmers' innovative entrepreneurship on agricultural and rural economic development in China, adopting a dynamic spatio-temporal perspective. The study utilizes panel data encompassing 30 provinces (cities autonomous regions) from 2015 to 2020, with systematic consideration diversified spatial weight matrices. empirical findings reveal that distribution demonstrates characteristic low-low agglomeration, accompanied by evident positive spillover effects radiation-driving effects, especially regions similar urbanization levels. Additionally, identifies heterogeneous across different grain production patterns household income Ultimately, underscores significance deeply integrating innovation provides evidence support necessity differentiated specialized incentive measures for amid context new normal.

The accurate assessment of marine fisheries' carbon emissions (MFCE) and the identification spatial temporal variation in fisheries eco-efficiency (MFEE) its drivers under emission reduction constraint can facilitate high-quality development achievement 'carbon neutrality' goal. Current assessments MFEE exclude focus on single-factor methodologies, which limit their utility guiding strategies. In this study, using provincial data from 2008 to 2021, we constructed a model undesired output efficiency through directional distance function determine potential each province. global Malmquist–Luenberger (GML) was also used explore trends MFCE China influencing growth. Different mechanisms underlying growth three major economic zones were investigated. results show that (1) is declining, with sources showing decline sinks rapid year 2015 an important turning point for fisheries. (2) level differed among Chinese coastal provinces cities during study period, circles belonged different types potential. Under constraint, values showed fluctuating upward trend significant differences rates power sources, while pure technical drove optimal eco-efficiency. (3) economy, resource use, industrial structure, environmental regulation, science technology improve MFEE, whereas degree openness outside world negatively impacts MFEE; positive.

Agricultural production faces the dual challenge of increasing output while ensuring efficient resource utilization and environmental sustainability amid escalating global climate change relentless increases in human demand. This study used provincial panel data from China 2001 to 2022 address these challenges. It systematically evaluated dynamic evolution agricultural green total factor productivity (AGTFP) by selecting “resources” “energy” as core input factors adopting a dual-output approach focused on “economic” “low-carbon” outcomes. thoroughly analyzed synergistic mechanisms such natural endowment, technology, economic development, regulation, exploring their impact AGTFP enhancement through innovative application fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method. There was significant upward trend across China, indicating notable progress development. Additionally, three pathways promoting improvement were identified: resource–economy-driven, technology–policy-guided, multifactor-synergy. Simultaneously, two modes constraining uncovered: economy–policy suppression capital–economy suppression, highlighting pivotal role regional development conditionality converting advantages. Moreover, contributions exhibited temporal dynamics. Major events, 2008 financial crisis policy shifts, including 2012 “Ecological Civilization” strategy, significantly altered effectiveness existing configurations. Our heterogeneity revealed distinct geographical patterns, with resource–economy-driven model predominantly observed central regions technology–policy-guided multi-factor-synergy models more prevalent eastern regions. These findings highlight importance formulating differentiated policies tailored specific needs stages different Specifically, enhancing synergy between management optimizing technology–policy integration, coordinated multisectoral are critical fostering sustainable practices. research provides crucial empirical evidence for shaping targeted that can drive diverse contexts.
