Hierarchical porous activated carbons (ACs) were efficiently synthesized in less than 2 min using microwaves and phosphoric acid (H3PO4), exhibiting excellent potential as adsorbent for carbon dioxide (CO2) Methylene Blue (MB). The method emphasizes the development of selective physicochemical textural properties crucial CO2 post-combustion capture textile dye removal from water, agricultural waste precursor to address environmental economic challenges associated with preparation ACs. Dielectric confirmed H3PO4 increased microwave absorption biomass. Employing a single-step method, resulting ACs exhibited large specific surface areas exceeding 1000 m2g−1, achieved relatively low energies (2.4 GJ ton-1). ABSTRACT This study investigated the removal of a typical organic pollutant methylene blue (MB) dye from wastewater by prepared mesoporous SBA-15 adsorbent in continuous adsorption system (fixed-bed column). Potable water availability is becoming increasingly challenging due to increasing level of global population and industrial revolution. The disproportionate use methylene blue (MB), particularly in applications, a growing concern its high resistance biodegradation propensity taint aquatic environments. In this study, we developed novel eco-friendly calcium oxide nanoparticles from eggshells fishbones (CaONPs-ES CaONPs-FB) decorated them on graphene (GO) surfaces.
