Purpose Popularity of organic food and products is growing across the globe due to rising awareness towards health environment, leading quality life. However, multitude challenges associated with purchase consumption remain insufficiently addressed within context developing nations, such as India. This study attempts fill this gap by identifying crucial barriers analyzing them further establish contextual relationships among them. Design/methodology/approach In total, 18 identified a literature review are classified into 6 major (constructs) using exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Further, fuzzy decision-making trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) approach employed relegate these sub-barriers cause-and-effect group.
