Osteoporotic bone regeneration poses significant challenges due to the complexity of condition. Osteoporosis, a degenerative disorder, results from an imbalance in homeostasis driven by dysregulation osteoblast and osteoclast activity. This complicates treatment osteoporosis its related injuries clinical practice. Despite development various polymer scaffolds for defect repair, achieving effective osteoporotic bones-especially when combined with medications-remains difficult. In this study, we designed drug delivery system composed mesoporous bioactive glass (MBG) photo-crosslinked hyaluronic acid methacrylate (HAMA). system, loaded osteogenesis-promoting peptide DWIVA (D5) osteoclastogenesis-inhibiting alendronate (ALN), is gelled using light initiator 405 nm wavelength light. The MBG@D5-Gel complex enables controlled spatiotemporal release these agents, markedly enhancing conditions within ovariectomized rats inhibiting osteoclastogenesis resorption while promoting osteogenic differentiation mineralization. dual-action synergistically regulates activity, optimizing pathological microenvironment facilitating repair defects. holds great potential as organic-inorganic hybrid biomimetic implant material
