In the fast-developing time, accumulation of waste materials is always in an uptrend due to population increases and industrialization. This excessive harms ecosystem human beings by depleting water quality, air biodiversity. Further, use fossil fuel problem-related global warming, greenhouse gases are major challenge front world. Nowadays, scientists researchers more focused on recycling utilizing different like a municipal solid (MSW), agro-industrial etc. The added environment converted into valuable products or green chemicals using chemistry principles. These fields production energy, synthesis biofertilizers textile industry fulfil need present Here we focus circular economy considering value bioeconomic market. For this purpose, sustainable development bio-economy most promising alternative, which possible incorporating latest techniques microwave-based extraction, enzyme immobilization-based removal, bioreactor-based removal etc., for valorization food materials. conversion organic vermicomposting also realised earthworms. review article focuses various types (such as MSW, agricultural, industrial, household waste, etc.), management with current glitches expected solutions that have been discussed. Furthermore, highlighted their safe contribution role

Air pollution is a central problem faced by industries during the production process. The control of this essential for environment and living organisms as it creates harmful effects. Biofiltration current management strategy that concerns removing odor, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), other pollutants from air. Recently, approach has earned vogue globally due to its low-cost straightforward technique, effortless function, high reduction efficacy, less energy necessity, residual consequences not needing additional remedy. There critical requirement consider sustainable machinery decrease arising within air water sources. For managing these different kinds pollutant reductions, biofiltration techniques have been utilized. contaminants are adsorbed upon medium exterior metabolized benign outcomes through immobilized microbes. Biofiltration-based designs appeared advantageous in terminating dangerous wastewater or contaminated recent years. uses possibilities microbial approaches (bacteria fungi) lessen broad range VOCs. In review, we discussed general introduction based on classification history mechanisms used discussed. Further, crucial factors biofilters affect performance detail. Finally, concluded topic with challenges future prospects.

The COVID-19 pandemic created an unprecedented demand for PPE, with single-use face masks emerging as a critical tool in containing virus transmission. However, the extensive use and improper disposal of these masks, predominantly composed non-biodegradable plastics, has exacerbated environmental challenges. This research presents innovative method mechanically upcycling PPEs used medical sectors i.e. single masks. study investigates facile approach reclamation infection-free pure polypropylene (PP) plastic from discarded (W-PP) blends it various vegetable oil percentages (5, 10 20 %), resulting versatile material suitable applications. Melt flow index, rheological behaviour, DSC FTIR were employed to investigate effect oil/radical initiator through chemical grafting on W-PP properties. results demonstrate significant enhancements tensile strength modulus when blended radical initiator. There was marked increase (33 %) strain (55 compared untreated W-PP, rendering both robust flexible. Furthermore, we this upcycled fabrication glass fibre-reinforced composites, notable impact resistance. demonstrates excellent potential applications, such sheet forming 3D printing, where non-brittleness plastics plays pivotal role manufacturing high-quality products. cost-benefit analysis underscores PPE waste sustainable solution mitigate pollution conserve valuable resources. applications span wide range industries, including automotive packaging, printing.
