Purpose: Chronic inflammation is one of the key mechanisms depression.Wenyang-Tianjin-Jie Decoction (WTJD) an effective antidepressant found in course diagnosis and treatment, but mechanism therapeutic effect not clear.The study aimed to evaluate efficacy WTJD kidney yang deficiency (KYD) type depression rats reveal its mechanisms.Materials Methods: We selected forty 6-week-old male Sprague-Dawley for study.We established a KYD [Phellodendron amurense Rupr (Huangbai) solution oral gavage 4°C environments; 8 weeks] (chronic unpredictable mild stimulus; 6 weeks) rat model first.After successful modeling, we used or fluoxetine on 3 weeks.Then evaluated behavior.Finally, observed expression inflammatory factors proteins peripheral blood hippocampus, further investigated immune balance Th17/Treg Th1/Th2 cells activity their main regulatory pathways JAK2/STAT3 TLR4/TRAF6/NF-κB. Results:The imbalance were related depressive symptoms.Through this study, that can inhibit TLR4/TRAF6/NF-κB pathways, cell homeostasis, regulate levels hippocampus blood, reverse depression. Conclusion:This confirmed had reliable with KYD, was homeostasis hippocampal T improve symptoms rats.

Introduction Ulcerative colitis, a subtype of chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), is characterized by relapsing colonic inflammation and ulcers. The traditional Chinese herbal formulation Huang Lian Jie Du (HLJD) decoction used clinically to treat diarrhea colitis. However, the mechanisms associated with effects treatment remain unclear. This study aims elucidate molecular mechanistic HLJD on Methods Chronic colitis in mice was induced adding 1% dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) their drinking water continuously for 8 weeks, at doses 2 4 g/kg administered orally daily from second week until experimental endpoint. Stool consistency scores, blood stool body weights were recorded weekly. Disease activity index (DAI) determined before necropsy, where colon tissues collected biochemical analyses. In addition, fecal microbiome treated using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing. Results relieved DSS-induced suppressing through compromised macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (Csf1r)/Src pathway. Furthermore, formula could modify gut microbiota profile decreasing abundance Bacteroides , Odoribacter Clostridium_sensu_stricto_1 Parasutterella . close correlations between DAI, length, spleen weight, identified. Discussion Our findings revealed that attenuated reducing via Csf1r/Src-mediated infiltration, as well modulating profile.
