ABSTRACT
This
study
investigates
the
consistency
of
quality
between
traditional
decoction
(TD)
Pheretima
aspergillum
and
its
dispensing
granule
(DGD)
by
examining
their
chemical
composition
antithrombotic
efficacy.
We
first
determined
nucleoside
components,
protein
content,
volatile
compounds
in
10
batches
TD
9
DGD
sourced
from
three
manufacturers
using
high‐performance
liquid
chromatography
(HPLC),
UV–vis
spectrophotometry,
gas
ion
mobility
spectrometry
(GC‐IMS).
Next,
we
assessed
efficacy
measuring
relative
length
tail
thrombosis
calculating
thrombus
inhibition
rates
at
24
48
h.
Our
comprehensive
analysis
revealed
that
concentrations
hypoxanthine,
uridine,
inosine,
adenosine,
proteins
were
significantly
higher
than
those
DGD.
Moreover,
types
exhibited
substantial
differences,
with
19
identified
as
differentially
present

decoctions.
