In recent years, the incidence of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s Huntington’s and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, has shown a steadily rising trend, which posed major challenge to global public health. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with its multi-component multi-target characteristics, offers promising approach for treatment diseases. However, it is difficult comprehensively elucidate complex mechanisms underlying TCM formulations. As an emerging systems biology approach, network pharmacology provided crucial tool uncovering through high-throughput technologies, molecular docking, analysis. This paper reviews advancements in application treating diseases TCM, analyzes current status relevant databases technological methods, discusses limitations research, proposes future directions promote modernization development precision medicine. ABSTRACT Gualou‐Xiebai (GX), a traditional Chinese herbal pair, is often used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. However, investigation into components GX not comprehensive enough. In order to obtain chemical profile GX, method that combined mass spectrometry with feature‐based molecular network was utilized for identification its complex constituents. total, 121 compounds were annotated and four potential new inferred. addition, an optimized fingerprint analysis using high‐performance liquid chromatography coupled charged aerosol detector established, which further validated implemented simultaneous quantification 17 ingredients including semi‐quantitative 13 allium saponins quantitative fatty acids. This achieved detection no ultraviolet absorption constituents GX. The results have important impact on revealing basis lay foundation quality assessment.

Atherosclerosis is a highly prevalent cardiovascular condition that affects individuals worldwide. Despite ongoing research into its treatment and prevention, atherosclerotic disease continues to exhibit high morbidity mortality rates. The accumulation of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol considered major contributor the development atherosclerosis, with abnormalities in lipid metabolism playing significant role pathogenesis. Lipid macrophage function are intricately interconnected, being influenced by inflammatory responses, while activity regulated alterations metabolism. interaction between these two processes plays critical progression atherosclerosis. Natural products have shown considerable promise treating variety diseases, including Moreover, modulation crosstalk represents key mechanism through which natural may exert their effects. This aims provide new insights current state on regulating this pathway interplay macrophages context offering potential directions for future.
