In recent years, the utilization of biomass materials for removal and detection water pollutants has garnered considerable attention. This study introduces, first time, preparation Fe3O4/persimmon leaf magnetic composites. The composites were employed in a solid-phase extraction method, coupled with gas chromatography-electron capture (GC-ECD), analysis four pesticides (trifluralin, triadimefon, permethrin, fenvalerate) environmental samples. innovative persimmon synthesized by situ generation Fe3O4 nanoparticles through coprecipitation loaded onto leaves. These exhibit superparamagnetism saturation magnetization 12.8 emu g−1, facilitating rapid phase separation using field reducing time to 10 min. Desorption can be achieved within 30 s aspirating 20 times, eliminating need time-consuming labor-intensive experimental steps like filtration centrifugation. specific surface area composite adsorbent increased from 1.3279 m2 g−1 original 5.4688 g−1. abundant hydroxyl carboxyl groups on provide ample adsorption sites, resulting capacities ranging 55.056 mg 73.095 studied pesticides. exhibited recoveries 80% 90% Compared certain previously reported MSPE methods, this approach achieves equivalent or higher shorter operation demonstrating enhanced efficiency convenience. Good linearity target analytes was obtained range 0.75–1500 μg L−1, determination coefficient (R2) greater than 0.999. findings contribute use as effective environmentally friendly adsorbents pollutant

The indiscriminate use of deltamethrin in agriculture and aquaculture can lead to residues increased many regions, which poses negative impacts on intestinal health aquatic organisms. Although the potential toxicity have recently attracted attention, comprehensive studies injuries after chronic exposure remain poorly understood. Herein, a 28-day test, crucian carp expose different concentrations (0, 0.3, 0.6 μg/L) were used as research object. We found that morphology changes goblet cells tissue, extent tissue injury along with increasing dose deltamethrin. Additionally, genes expression antioxidant activity (Cu/Zn superoxide dismutase (Cu-Zn SOD), glutathione peroxidase 1 (GPX1), catalase (CAT)), inflammatory response (tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα), interferon gamma (IFNγ), interleukin beta (IL-1β)), tight junctions (Claudin 12 (CLDN12), junction protein (ZO-1)) dramatically increased. Meanwhile, apoptosis autophagy process triggered through caspase-9 cascade related 5 (ATG5)- (ATG12) conjugate. Besides, amount Proteobacteria Verrucomicrobiota, while decreased Fusobacteriota abundance, resulting microbiota function disorders. In summary, our results highlight cause serious physiological flora disturbances.

Aquatic products are good sources of essential nutrients, but the presence pyrethroids (PYRs) as contaminants may pose risks to consumer health intricate matrices PYRs usually obstruct chemical hazard detection. In this study, a gas chromatographic method was established and validated for simultaneously detecting residues seven (cyhalothrin, permethrin, cyfluthrin, cypermethrin, tau-fluvalinate, fenvalerate, deltamethrin) in aquatic products. The aim assess better potential pesticide were extracted with acetonitrile, purified n-hexane saturated cleaned up on Cleanert® Alumina N column. Statistical analysis orthogonal array experimental design used optimize key parameters. To validate proposed method, commonly consumed (such carp, crucian whiteleg shrimp, river crab, sea cucumber, scallop) obtained from local supermarkets Shanghai. Satisfied linearity calibration curves achieved matrix-matched standard solution, correlation coefficient (R2) larger than 0.995. average recoveries at five fortification levels varied 77.0% 117.2%, relative deviations (RSDs) below 11.1%. Concerning electron capture detection, limits detection (LOD) quantification (LOQ) 2.0–5.0 µg/kg 5.0–10.0 µg/kg, respectively. These results demonstrate high stability sensitivity products, having great practicability which can be popularized easily.

Current-use pesticides (CUP) are extensively applied in both agricultural and urban settings. Exposure occurs mainly via the dietary pathway; however, other pathways such as inhalation or skin contact also important. In this study, urinary levels of 12 CUP metabolites were investigated among 110 parent-child pairs during two seasons 2020. Metabolites pyrethroids (3-PBA, t/c-DCCA), chlorpyrifos (TCPY), tebuconazole (TEB-OH) detected more than 60% samples. Chlorpyrifos metabolite was found at highest concentration almost all significantly higher children comparison to adults, except for tebuconazole, which similar groups. children, winter samples had concentrations pyrethroid summer samples, but only winter. No association between proximity/surface areas around residences observed. Based on our findings, we suspect that exposure is driven by diet effect environmental less significant. Daily Intakes estimated with three possible scenarios considering amount excreted urine compared Acceptable Intake values. Using a realistic scenario, exhibited health risk, still within safe level. The exceeded one child case cypermethrin. cumulative risk assessment pesticide mixtures having an nervous system, based total margin calculations, did not indicate any risk. overall associated observed population low. However, using worst-case scenario suggests need continuous evaluation human compounds, especially children.
