ABSTRACT
The
term
dark
triad
is
an
assemblage
of
the
three
personality
traits,
that
is,
Machiavellianism,
Narcissism,
and
Psychopathy.
Recently,
these
traits
have
gained
prominence
as
both
direct
indirect
antecedents
consumption‐related
constructs
in
marketing
literature,
signalling
heightened
scholarly
interest
consumer
behaviour.

study
adopts
a
hybrid
systematic
review
methodology,
considered
two‐pronged
approach
comprising
framework‐based
bibliometric
methods,
analysing
251
articles
sourced
from
two
largest
citation
abstract
databases:

Scopus.
We

overview

research,
using
selected
techniques

(e.g.

analysis,

publication‐related
metrics,

We
surveyed

Polish

Romanian
firms
about
their
nonmarket
strategies
(NMS).
The
results
revealed
similar
links
among
relative
firm
size,
market
strategies,
NMS,
performance.
Firm
size
did
not
influence
orientation,
but
it
influenced
political
social
NMS.
performance
was
primarily
by
global
growth
differentiation,
cost
leadership.

driver

Eastern
Europe
