Hydroxyurea (HU) is an effective but underused disease-modifying therapy for patients with sickle cell anaemia (SCA). EMBRACE SCD, a disease treatment demonstration project, aimed to improve access HU by increasing prescription (Rx) rates at least 10% from baseline in children SCA. Complex mechanisms exist between public risk perception, emotions, and coping behaviors during health emergencies. To unravel the relationship these three phenomena, a meta-analytic approach was employed in this study. Using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis 3.0, 81 papers were analyzed after selection. The results of meta-analysis showed that (1) perception (perceived severity, perceived susceptibility) negative emotions (especially fear) are both correlated with behaviors; (2) is strongly fear moderately anxiety; (3) anxiety predicts adoption behaviors. existing research provided an empirical basis for implementing effective behavior interventions implied management decisionmakers need to consider reasonable through multiple channels maintain public’s within appropriate levels. Finally, future directions suggested.

Objective: This systematic review aimed to assess the global application of behavioral change theory and models on COVID-19 preventive behaviors. Methods: followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses procedure. Databases such as PubMed/MIDLINE, Web Science, Scopus, EMB ASE, World Health Organization libraries, Google Scholar were used search all published articles in area model behavior until October 1, 2022. Studies another language other than English excluded. Two independent reviewers did article selection quality check. A third reviewer asked if any disagreement found. Result: Seventeen thousand four hundred thirty-six total retrieved from sources after removal duplicated those not evaluating outcome interest Finally, 82 done using behaviors included. The health belief (HBM) planned (TPB) most commonly constructs theories significantly associated with hand washing, face mask use, vaccine uptake, social isolation, self-quarantine, distance, use sanitizers. Conclusion: summarizes comprehensive evidence globally. seven HBM TPBs Therefore, is recommended developing interventional strategies.

One such program in China distributed free MNP to children aged 6–24 months poor rural areas. However, there are indications generation primary caregiver (i.e., parent grandparent) may influence feeding behavior. The purpose this study was investigate prevalence influencing factors effective behavior parents grandparents developing setting. We conducted cross-sectional 884 caregivers formerly impoverished areas Sichuan Province using multi-stage random sampling. Data were collected on caregivers' behavior, their core perceptions health beliefs about MNP, children's responses delivery patterns, demographic characteristics. Published: March 19, 2025

Abstract Most healthcare‐associated infections are transmitted through the hands of healthcare workers (HCWs). However, handwashing compliance remains a challenge in Taiwan. This study examined intention among 705 HCWs (103 physicians and 602 nurses), using an extensive set survey items informed by Health Belief Model (HBM). Exploratory factor analysis measuring HBM's reflective latent constructs ( perceived susceptibility , severity benefits barriers ) revealed 10‐factor structure, representing distinct dimensions with nuanced differentiation within original constructs. These 10 factors, along cues to action (a formative construct), comprised 11 HBM factors this study. Perceived infection prevention emerged as strongest driver HCWs' intention, followed . Conversely, barriers—time constraints significantly decreased intention. Stratified comparisons showed that nurses endorsed different action, highlighting need for profession‐specific interventions. While were motivated concerns regarding professional competence, praise/respect at work. Notably, hospital policy mandating also increased Our findings offer practical insights developing theory‐driven tailored interventions enhance HCWs.
