The machine learning (ML) paradigm has gained much popularity today. Its algorithmic models are employed in every field, such as natural language processing, pattern recognition, object detection, image earth observation and many other research areas. In fact, technologies their inevitable impact suffice technological transformation agendas currently being propagated by nations, for which the already yielded benefits outstanding. From a regional perspective, several studies have shown that technology can help address some of Africa's most pervasive problems, poverty alleviation, improving education, delivering quality healthcare services, addressing sustainability challenges like food security climate change. this state-of-the-art paper, critical bibliometric analysis study is conducted, coupled with an extensive literature survey on recent developments associated applications perspective Africa. presented consists 2761 learning-related documents, 89% were articles at least 482 citations published 903 journals during past three decades. Furthermore, collated documents retrieved from Science Citation Index EXPANDED, comprising publications 54 African countries between 1993 2021. shows visualization current landscape future trends its application to facilitate collaborative knowledge exchange among authors different institutions scattered across continent.

To implement translated version in the Brazilian context, standardised adaptation and validation are necessary. translate, adapt verify measurement properties of DC/TMD Axis II instruments Pain Drawing (PD), Graded Chronic Scale (GCPS), Jaw Functional Limitation (JFLS) Oral Behaviours Checklist (OBC). translation cross-cultural processes orofacial-related followed Guidelines Establishing Cultural Equivalency. research was carried out with 117 Brazilians TMD, two assessment days. Structural validity, internal consistency, test-retest reliability, error, construct validity-hypothesis testing, ceiling floor effects were tested. PD showed substantial reliability (Kappa 0.63), GCPS, JFLS OBC excellent over time (intraclass correlation coefficient > 0.85). consistency adequate all (Cronbach's alpha 0.77) except functional activities domain = 0.48). This study aimed to explore seasonal variations in temporomandibular disorder (TMD) prevalence South Korea, utilizing nationwide population-based big data. Data corresponding the Korean Standard Classification of Diseases code K07.6, which identifies TMD, were extracted from Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service online platform for period 2010 2022. Additionally, we integrated these data with climate temperature records Meteorological Administration. We subsequently conducted a statistical analysis TMD patient on monthly basis over past 13 years assess prevalence. Over years, number patients Korea has steadily increased. The rose 0.48% (224,708 out total population 50,515,666) 0.94% (482,241 51,439,038) 2022, marking 1.96-fold increase. Among children under 10 age, no significant differences observed between boys girls. However, distinct female predominance emerged after age 10, an average female-to-male ratio 1.51:1. peak occurred individuals their 20 s, followed by adolescents late s. majority concentrated Seoul Gyeonggi province, metropolitan areas accounting 50% count. Seasonally, numbers showed increase winter compared spring or summer. difference, defined as absolute difference highest lowest temperatures each month, positive correlation counts. A greater was associated higher strongest (r = 0.480, p < 0.01), summer 0.443, 0.366, 0.05). Temperature demonstrated significantly stronger than temperatures. aspect should be key consideration when examining trends Korea.
