Human Footprint, the pressure imposed on eco-environment by changing ecological processes and natural landscapes, is raising worldwide concerns biodiversity conservation. Due to lack of spatiotemporally consistent datasets Footprint over a long temporal span, many relevant studies this topic have been limited. Here, we mapped annual dynamics global from 2000 2018 using eight variables that reflect different aspects human pressures. The accuracy assessment revealed good agreement between our results previously developed in years. We found more than two million km

The conflict between the human-environment is more prominent in densely populated areas (DPA) where urban expansion increasingly disturbing ecological environment, resulting significant damage to habitat quality (HQ). However, a few studies have examined impacts of on HQ DPA under different scenarios, especailly Yellow River Basin. Therefore, we quantitatively analyzed from 1990 2018 by coupling FLUS-InVEST model and predicted changes 2030. results showed that: (1) rate was 46.4%. Among them, Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos-Yulin (HBOY) agglomeration expanded at highest rate, with an intensity 0.16%. pattern mainly edge expansion. (2) overall decreased 1.6%. patch level affected expansion, higher-level patches were easily shifted lower-level patches. Low increased 38.6% while high gradually decreased. (3) Under natural development scenario, 28.9% 2.9%. only descesaed 0.8% constraint indicating that constrained way great benefit improve HQ. These provide reference for conservation sustainable DPA.

The continuous expansion and development of anthropogenic activities pose considerable threats to the habitats myriad species. Therefore, exploring how protect optimize species' achieve harmony between humans nature is particularly important. As a paradise for wildlife, Poyang Lake habitat breeding ground birds, fish, other aquatic organisms. In this study, adopting multi-level perspective 'point-line-area', we had an appliance conservation by constructing ecological security pattern (ESP) in Ecoregion (PYLE). We produced land use cover from 2000 2040 using random forest cellular automata-Markov model. Combining morphological spatial analysis, landscape index, Linkage Mapper, constructed long-term ESP PYLE considering protection. spatiotemporal dynamics were compared analyzed. results show that PYLE's rapid economic led extensive urban growth, encroaching on surrounding bare land, which could undermine local survival. Based predicted 2040, propose optimized 'one area, two zones, multiple points' scheme prioritize This comprehensive study provides innovative ideas novel insights future research policy formulation

The ecological network construction and optimization are of great significance in ensuring regional security optimizing the space national territory, therefore constructing spatial proposing countermeasures conducive to enhancing stability. However, current research on networks ignores ecospatial community structure topology characteristics networks, lacks a systematic framework. scope primarily concentrates urban administrative units, with less emphasis geographic scale watersheds. This approach is not comprehensive management all elements ecosystems. Therefore, this took Erhai Lake Basin as an object, adopted Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis (MSPA) landscape connectivity extract sources, simulate corridors identify weak points through model Minimum Cumulative Resistance (MCR) gravity model, constructed Basin, topologized by using Gephi platform. Based results analysis complex indicators, strategy increasing edges was proposed. Priority conservation areas were further identified, pattern designed, restoration planned. Results show that 28 378 potential corridors, 48 important 86 formed Basin. had clear clustering instability, high degree concentration northeast uneven betweenness centrality, especially higher east. Through analysis, 12 increased edge nodes 9 simulated, 26 added, significantly improving robustness. pattern, strict control around lake, barrier belts priority designed. study implemented based enhance stability network, which provides theoretical basis for useful exploration ecologically fragile watersheds protect environment achieve high-quality sustainable development.
