BACKGROUND: The calls for curricula review to adequately prepare nursing graduates have increased over the last decade. In response, many education institutions across world considered ways and renew their curricula. Part of these renewal processes seeks function within highly dynamic challenging environments. aim this study was explore private healthcare context as a learning environment using an organizational theory lens, with view informing enhancing curriculum development implementation in education. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A qualitative case methodology interpretivist paradigm used, drawing on theory. population included educators who teach undergraduate students at higher institution South Africa managers clinical sites where undertake learning. Data collection, which undertaken period 2018–2020, observations, focus group discussions, interviews. Thematic analysis undertaken, three-tiered analytical approach followed analyze data. RESULTS: Four themes were identified: site tension, cultural layering, role complexity, hierarchy. CONCLUSION: Nursing is dynamic, providing range experiences. An understanding from perspective provides some insights into potential challenges opportunities Curriculum developers should consider optimizing so that can be provided experiences enhance necessary competence.

Frontline doctors’ clinical leadership (CL) is key to addressing healthcare sustainability challenges. Research shows CL requires professional learning. Significant investments into development notwithstanding, little evidence exists of how frontline clinicians learn leadership, highlighting an educational challenge. We propose a fundamental constitutive step towards understanding (PD) through theorising and analysing CL-learning mechanisms their association with clinicians’ competences required for sustainable development. This mixed-methods study developed concept learning patterns assess processes associated sustained innovation. It analysed post-course dataset past participants CL-PD course (N = 150) pre-post online 34). EFA demonstrated reasonable factor model the Leadership Learning Inventory, measuring two dimensions patterns: Meaning-oriented Problematic Qualitative quantitative analyses showed that increased significantly during linked competences. suggests useful evaluating quality PD. offers conceptually empirically sound way involved in improvement, interventions support it.

The aim of this study was to measure how the use simulation contributes improvement speaking skills and enhancement students' motivation learn a foreign language. methods observation, testing, expert evaluation were used diagnose criteria language communicative competence (motivational, cognitive, behavioral). quality manifestation interaction correlated with its development, three levels among students distinguished: low (reproductive), medium (reproductive-productive), high (productive). results showed that EG significantly increased indicators for all criteria. comparison two experimental stages revealed higher increase in second stage (high level—by 10.1%, 4.9%). It determined simulations contribute gradual development main advantages are they provide an opportunity reproduce various situations, thereby contributing improving skills, understanding real time, adapting requirements communication. prospect further research is impact different forms on effectiveness learning.

Abstract Objective Accreditation bodies are driving competency-based education in healthcare, prompting curriculum reform. Simulation-based (SBE) addresses challenges reform has uncovered, like lack of standardization bedside teaching. This study explores the impact an AI-powered Automated System Protocol (ASP) for grading students' post-encounter notes Clerkship OSCEs, comparing it to legacy human grader system. Methods The ASP, utilizing GPT-4, mapped rubric items prompts. Analyzing from 684 medical students across four academic years, we compared ASP with Standardized Patient Evaluator (SPE) grades. Time efficiency, cost savings, and ROI analyses assessed educational financial implications. Results Significant savings efficiency gains were observed GPT-4 comparison SPEs. Cost Investment totaled $69,112 over 1,150 hours. Comparing three SP graders yielded $13,112 increased costs initial time investment was required. However, beyond development execution-only, legacy, showed 589.44%, saving $47,877 87.5% efficiency. ASP-execution versus MD demonstrated even stronger 797.09%. Conclusion Implementing provides substantial enhancing models. These findings highlight significant improvements achievable through implementation, positioning automated assessment as innovative force shaping future education. By liberating resources manual immediacy feedback, this approach contributes a more efficient, effective, engaging learning experience.
