Following
a
design-based
research
methodology,
this
investigation

pedagogical
model
to
foster
ocean
citizenship
through

Abstract
Although
the
literature
on
role

higher
education
in
sustainable
development
is
extensive,
a
notable
gap
remains

(SDGs),

universities
