Salivary Biomarkers in Breast Cancer: From Salivaomics to Salivaoncoomics

Saliva
is
a
promising
biological
fluid
for
the
diagnosis
and
monitoring
of
diseases,
including
breast
cancer.
To
study
composition
saliva,
complex
"omics"
technologies
used:
genomics,
transcriptomics,
proteomics,
metabolomics
microbiomics.
In
this
review,
we
systematized
all
known
in
their
application
to
saliva
analysis
cancer
order
understand
how
complete
picture
provided
by
combination
different
areas
research
identify
missing
links.
It
has
been
shown
that
studies
are
chaotic
unsystematic.
Inconsistency
sample
sizes
high
heterogeneity
were
identified.
The
main
tasks
need
be
solved
harmonious
development
salivaomics
new
direction-"salivaonkoomics"
formulated.
Thus,
it
necessary
systematize
unify
biomarkers
within
each
area
"omics",
size
its
homogeneity,
list
methods
approaches,
biomarkers,
reproducibility
results,
ability
transfer
results
other
samples.
important
