Abstract Researchers have adopted a variety of analytical techniques to examine the collective influence 24-h movement behaviors (i.e., physical activity, sedentary behaviors, sleep) on mental health, but efforts synthesize this growing body literature been limited studies children and youth. This systematic review investigated how combinations relate indicators ill-being well-being across lifespan. A search MEDLINE, PsycINFO, Embase, SPORTDiscus was conducted. Studies were included if they reported all three behaviors; an indicator or well-being; published in English after January 2009. Samples both clinical non-clinical populations included. total 73 ( n = 58 cross-sectional; 15 longitudinal) met our inclusion criteria, which 47 children/youth 26 adults. Seven approaches used: guideline adherence (total specific combinations), compositions, isotemporal substitution, profile/cluster analyses, Goldilocks method rest-activity rhythmicity. More associations for 127 children/youth; 53 adults) than 54 adults). Across lifespan, favorable benefits most consistently observed when components guidelines met. Movement compositions more often associated with health youth Beneficial behavior replaced sleep activity. Other analytic indicated that engaging healthier consistent patterns (emphasizing adequate sleep, maximizing minimizing behaviors) better health. Favorable less longitudinal studies. Collectively, these findings provide further support adopting integrative whole day approach promote prevent manage over status quo focusing isolation. literature, however, is still emerging—for adults particular—and work required make stronger inferences.

Emerging evidence points towards the psychological benefits of meeting 24-hour movement behavior (24-HMB) guidelines, but such associations have not yet been investigated among children and adolescents prescribed eyeglasses/contact lenses. To this end, we examined 24-HMB guidelines with internalizing externalizing challenges in population. We used data from 2021 National Survey Children's Health, a cross-sectional survey including representative sample US adolescents. Data on behaviors (physical activity [PA], sedentary operationalized via screen time [ST], sleep duration [SL]) problems were collected through caregiver proxy reports. Caregivers completed questionnaires for 6030 (2799 girls) Logistic regression analyses conducted to determine above-presented associations. Only 7.1 % those lenses met all three while they more likely meet SL guideline alone (32.1 %) relation other independent PA (2.5 ST (10.9 %). Compared any at least two (25.22 was significantly linked lower odds problems. Meeting components beneficially Thus, strategies or intervention programs that focus should be implemented foster coping issues.

This needs-assessment study evaluated the physical activity levels, needs, preferences, and requirements for exercise among individuals with visual impairments, aiming to establish evidence codesign of a subsequent home-based program. The questionnaire, comprising 35 questions, was developed by research team disability adapted experts. It implemented online survey, collecting data from 145 adults severe low vision blindness between January 15 29, 2024. Descriptive statistical analysis content were employed. Seventy-five participants (62.5%) classified as overweight or obese, only reported engaging in recommended levels activity. Regarding future programs, seven themes identified: accessibility, nonvisual learning support, safety management, personalization, motivation, education, technology. results emphasized urgent need programs that align individuals’ specific health conditions abilities.

Adherence to the 24-hour movement behaviors (24-HMB) guidelines, which include increasing physical activity (PA), reducing screen time (ST), and ensuring adequate sleep (SL) is critical healthy development of children adolescents. Compliance with these guidelines associated positive health outcomes (e.g., emotional, social, academic function). Nevertheless, this correlation has yet be investigated in adolescents hearing loss. This cross-sectional study examined the associations between adherence to 24-hour movement behaviour (24-HMB) guidelines and indicators of school achievement, social-behavioural problems, emotional functioning among a nationally representative sample US children adolescents with learning disabilities (LD). Data were retrieved from 2020–2021 National Survey Children's Health (NSCH), including 4999 (aged 6 17 years) LD. Multivariate logistic regressions conducted estimate odds ratios (OR) 95% confidence intervals (95%CI), 24-HMB was considered as independent variables (Model 1: continuous variable; Model 2: categorical variable), dependent variables. Covariates included age, sex, race, overweight status, severity disability, educational intervention, parental education, household poverty level. Overall, 2156 participants (41.47%) met one three recommendations, 1289 (26.04%) two 336 (6.62%) all recommendations. Positive most assessed outcomes observed.
