Population growth in recent years has led to increased wastewater production and pollution of water resources. This situation also heavily affects Bolivia, so treatment methods materials suitable for Bolivian society should be explored. study investigated the natural Zeolite (BZ) its NaCl-modified structure (NaBZ) as adsorbents cadmium removal from water. The BZ modified form NaBZ were by different physicochemical characterization techniques. Furthermore, XPS FT-IR techniques used investigate adsorption mechanisms. on was analyzed using various mathematical models, Langmuir model provided a better description experimental data with capacities 20.2 25.6 mg/g NaBZ, respectively. followed pseudo-second order kinetics. effect parameters, such initial concentration pH studied. In addition, results regeneration test indicated that both can regenerated hydrochloric acid (HCl). Finally, experiment real sample (brine Salar de Uyuni salt flat) containing mixture heavy metals carried out. obtained this demonstrate effectiveness wastewater.

Abstract Green and efficient agro-waste-based activated carbon has been prepared utilizing peanut shells for adsorptive elimination of an industrial dye, methylene blue, lead from polluted water. The carbonaceous biomass obtained was chemically using either NaOH, ZnCl 2 , or steam characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, N adsorption desorption studies. process optimal blue at alkaline pH, while pH 4.5 Pb (II) adsorption. takes place through pseudo-second-order kinetic, the rate-governing step procedure are intraparticle diffusion film diffusion. Furthermore, thermodynamics studied, Gibbs free energy (ΔG°) values negative (− 35.90 to − 43.59 kJ mol −1 ) indicating spontaneous investigated pollutants on carbon. As per correlation coefficient, results were best fit Langmuir isotherm with maximum capacity 303.03 mg g 130.89 (II). successfully removed %removal exceeding 95%. mechanisms interaction is a combination electrostatic ion exchange, interacts via π–π interaction, hydrogen bonds, interaction. Thus, employed decontaminate wastewater groundwater samples. developed promising, cost-efficient, green, accessible tool water remediation.

Cr (VI) compounds find wide uses in the industrial sector, such as wood preservation, tanning, chrome plating, and anticorrosive agents. Several kinds of both natural factors can lead to contamination wastewater. Human exposure hazardous metal ion a variety health problems. The undergoes transition into lower oxidation state once it enters cell, causing oxidative stress harming organelles. Not only do sugar-phosphate backbones, histones, base pairing DNA suffer from induced genotoxicity, but chromosomes are also impacted. Because is more compared other metals, needs be removed water It feasible remove using physiochemical methods, they expensive produce sludge. Therefore, there an urgent need for economical eco-friendly removal technique. Biological techniques including biosorption, bioreduction, bioaccumulation regarded environmentally beneficial techniques. sources (VI), toxicity, green technology were authors' main points emphasis this review.
