Abstract
Purpose
To
determine
whether
(1)

Abstract
Objective
Non-suicidal
self-injury
(NSSI)
behaviors
are
prevalent
in
adolescents
and
have
adverse
effects
on
physical
mental
health.

is
known
about
the
relationship
between
NSSI
alexithymia,

mechanisms
that
could
explain
this
relationship.
