In recent years, a growing body of research has highlighted the significant influence microbiota on tumor immunity within microenvironment (TME). While much attention been given to bacteria, emerging evidence suggests that fungi also play crucial roles in development. The present review aimed consolidate latest findings mechanisms governing interactions between and immune system or TME. By elucidating these intricate mechanisms, novel insights into modulation therapeutic strategies may be uncovered. Ultimately, deeper understanding interplay TME holds promise for development innovative management targeted drugs enhance therapy efficacy.

Zizania latifolia is a highly nutritious vegetable being praised as "Ginseng in Water". Polysaccharides are the main bioactive ingredients Z. latifolia, but there have been no reports on yield- and activity-guided ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE), sulfation anti-non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) activity. In this study, polysaccharides (ZLP) were extracted using UAE under an optimized power, followed by to give three derivatives (SZLP-1 ∼ 3). After characterization, antioxidant anti-NSCLC activities evaluated. The optimal ultrasonic power for ZLP was screened out be 300 W, which yield 16.9 ± 2.10 %, scavenging rate against 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical 63.3 5.71 significantly higher than those of other powers hot-water extraction. A series characterizations fully confirmed sulfated modification ZLP. Sulfation improved antioxidation positively proportional degree substitution (DS), SZLP-2 with DS 15.1 2.50 elicited strong hydroxyl DPPH radicals-scavenging capacities. Meanwhile, also exerted promising potency via inhibiting A549 proliferation, median inhibition concentration (IC

Abstract Background Lung cancer is one of the most prevalent malignancies globally and leading cause cancer-related mortality. Although cisplatin a widely utilized chemotherapeutic agent, its clinical efficacy often hampered by significant toxicity undesirable side effects. Rosa canina, medicinal plant, has demonstrated range beneficial biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, anticancer, immunomodulatory, antioxidant, genoprotective Methods This study aimed to investigate potential canina enhance anticancer in dimethyl benz(a)anthracene-induced lung model using female rats. The animals were administered cisplatin, or combination both treatments. expression levels critical signaling molecules evaluated, phosphoinositide-3-kinase (PI3K), Akt, mammalian target rapamycin (mTOR), cleaved poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP-1), myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MyD88), tumor necrosis receptor-associated (TRAF), addition various autophagic markers. Furthermore, we assessed toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2), nuclear kappa B (NF-κB), apoptotic markers tissue, complemented histopathological examinations. Results combined treatment extract significantly inhibited cell proliferation downregulating PARP-1 TLR2/MyD88/TRAF6/NF-κB pathway, as well PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway. Moreover, this therapy promoted autophagy apoptosis, evidenced elevated Conclusion Overall, findings suggest that enhances effects inhibiting while simultaneously inducing apoptosis. Thus, can be used adjuvant chemotherapy overcome limitations which may considered new approach during strategy. Graphical
