The Nordic nations have yet to significantly contribute achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 7 and 13. This predicament might be attributed fundamental financialization concerns in these renewable energy generation implementation issues. are fighting reduce CO2 emissions as a result of two situations. Dealing with this problem may necessitate policy shift, which represents the focus research. Utilizing data from 1980 2020, we analyze heterogeneous impacts financial development on using advanced panel time-series methodologies. advantage wavelet tools (wavelet coherence, partial multiple techniques) is that they help capture initiatives at different frequencies, i.e., short, medium long-term. Our empirical outcomes CS-ARDL show both decrease short long term. Furthermore, coherence negative co-movement between each nation except for Iceland driving all frequencies. Additionally, enhances ‘CO2 emissions-renewable consumption’ association, but term, it has no stimulating effect. These findings lead recommendation an SDG-oriented framework. While agenda designed achieve SDGs 13, also applied other nations. study recommends countries implement measures boost supply through enhanced technologies.Abbreviations: ASEAN: Association Southeast Asian Nations; BRICS: Brazil, Russia, India, China South Africa; CO2: Carbon Emissions; CS-ARDL: Cross Sectional Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model; FD: Financial Development; PMG-ARDL: Pool Mean Group VAR: Vector Autoregressive; VECM: Error Corrected MINT: Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria Turkey; REC: Renewable Energy; SDG: Goal; SD:

Abstract Environmental sustainability and energy transition, especially the renewable have become critical concerns of nations throughout world in recent decades. The sustainable eco‐friendly technologies led to more methodologies, substantial stewardship our natural resources, conversion sources, all which been demonstrated benefit environment significantly. However, prior studies overlooked ecological transition effects green technology innovation. Therefore, this study endeavored investigate role innovation (lnGRN) financial globalization (lnFIG) on (lnEFT) (lnENT) United Kingdom using quarterly data for period from 1995 2020. applied time‐varying (bootstrapping) rolling window technique, can retrieve casual associations among variables at different periods sub‐samples. Besides this, method is advantageous addressing non‐consistency parameters eliminating pre‐test distortion. novel Bootstrap Rolling‐Window full‐sample causality technique results demonstrate that lnGRN lnFIG unidirectional toward lnEFT lnENT. Furthermore, bootstrap rolling‐window subsamples final stage indicate mitigate lnEFT, whereas lnGDP enhance transition. On other hand, lnETX contribute environmental deterioration, while hinders Several important policy implications are derived encourage globalization, technologies, resources consumption, taxes.

Abstract The world has witnessed a significant rise in greenhouse gas emissions since the end of 20th century as several economies begin to emerge into industrial hubs and manufacturing giants across globe. Thus, wake global interest clean energy development campaign for sustainable climate ecosystem, role emerging countries debate is unarguably vital demanding. Importantly, this study seeks examine commitment leading (E7) Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, Turkey transition carbon‐neutral 2050. We employ cross‐sectionally augmented autoregressive distributed lag approach that accounts potential country‐specific factors environmental‐related technological innovations (ERT) achieving neutrality E7 over period from 1992 2018. Notably, findings revealed 1 percent increase ERT yields ~0.33% (short‐run) ~ 0.17% (long‐run) reductions carbon emission, thus suggesting could be heading toward environmental sustainability with application ERT. Additionally, result utilization profile significantly reduced undesirable impact primary utilization. However, showed such an not enough trigger environmentally desirable cleaner mitigate emissions. This because larger share countries' conventional and/or non‐renewable sources. Kuznets curve hypothesis also validated.
