Abstract
Background
Chemical
pollution
forms
a
severe
threat
for
human
and
environmental
health.
While
the
risks

on
remote
aquatic
ecosystems

mountain
lakes,
despite
their
importance
provision
of
freshwater.

we
critically
review
current
exposure
risk
by
chemical
lakes

understanding
