Parabens are common preservatives in personal care products, cosmetics, and medical goods. In the past few years, animal studies showed male reproductive toxicity associated with some parabens. Yet, epidemiological have generated inconsistent findings research rarely has focused on mixture effects of We aimed to explore associations between individual paraben exposure as well semen quality parameters.A total 795 partners from preconception couples were included study. Their urine samples analyzed for concentrations six parabens, namely methyl (MeP), ethyl (EtP), propyl (PrP), butyl (BuP), benzyl (BzP) heptyl (HeP). Multiple linear regression models weighted quantile sum (WQS) utilized assess relationships parameters, respectively.After adjusting covariates, a was significantly declining sperm concentration, count, progressive motility, among which BuP identified main contributor concentration count while MeP motility. Results multiple generally line WQS analysis.Our results suggest negative motility reproductive-aged men.
