Free cyanide is a highly dangerous compound for health and the environment, so treatment of cyanide-contaminated water extremely important. In present study, TiO2, La/TiO2, Ce/TiO2, Eu/TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized to assess their ability remove free from aqueous solutions. Nanoparticles through sol–gel method characterized by X-ray powder diffractometry (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), Fourier-transformed infrared (FTIR), diffuse reflectance (DRS), specific surface area (SSA). Langmuir Freundlich isotherm models utilized fit adsorption equilibrium experimental data, pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, intraparticle diffusion used kinetics data. Cyanide photodegradation effect reactive oxygen species (ROS) on photocatalytic process investigated under simulated solar light. Finally, reuse in five consecutive cycles was determined. The results showed that La/TiO2 has highest percentage removal (98%), followed Ce/TiO2 (92%), (90%), TiO2 (88%). From these results, it suggested La, Ce, Eu dopants can improve properties as well its
