An in vivo model is necessary for toxicology. This review analyzed the uses of zebrafish (Danio rerio) toxicology based on bibliometrics. Totally 56,816 publications about from 2002 to 2023 were found Web Science Core Collection, with Toxicology as top 6 among all disciplines. Accordingly, bibliometric map reveals that "toxicity" has become a hot keyword. It further most common exposure types include acute, chronic, and combined exposure. The toxicological effects behavioral, intestinal, cardiovascular, hepatic, endocrine toxicity, neurotoxicity, immunotoxicity, genotoxicity, reproductive transgenerational toxicity. mechanisms oxidative stress, inflammation, autophagy, dysbiosis gut microbiota. toxicants commonly evaluated by using nanomaterials, arsenic, metals, bisphenol, dioxin. Overall, provide unique well-accepted investigate mechanisms. We also discussed possible ways address some limitations model, such combination human organoids avoid species differences.

Synbiotics are combinations of probiotics and prebiotics. It has been shown to be beneficial aquatic animals. In this study, Lactobacillus rhamnosus was cultured with different prebiotics as the sole carbon source, including inulin, acanthopanax senticosus polysaccharide (ASPS), chitosan oligosaccharide (COS), saposhnikovia divaricata (SDP), atractylodes macrocephala koidz (PAMK), astragalus polysaccharides (APS), Yu-Ping-Feng (YPFP), xylooligosaccharides (XOS) mannose (MAN). Screening gradient experiments revealed that suitable concentrations were: 2 % MAN, 3 APS, YPFP, 4 PAMK, SDP. L. (108 CFU/mL) were inoculated into media supplemented intestinal chyme Macrobrachium rosenbergii. Based on preliminary screening experiment gradients. The in vitro fermentation comprised seven groups: a control group (CT); (LGG); + MAN (LGG+MAN); APS (LGG+APS); YPFP (LGG+YPFP); PAMK (LGG+PAMK); SDP (LGG+SDP). results amylase activity significantly increased LGG+PAMK, LGG+SDP LGG+APS groups than CT (P<0.05). LGG+MAN showed highest protease (P<0.05), while lipase greater LGG LGG+YPFP Moreover, acetic acid valeric contents Additionally, LGG+APS, treatments decreased abundance Aeromonas more abundant other general, based M. rosenbergii intestine, combination is optimal synbiotic for prawn.

Probiotics, defined as viable microorganisms that enhance host health when consumed through the diet, exert their effects mechanisms such strengthening immune system, enhancing resistance to infectious diseases, and improving tolerance stressful conditions. Driven by a growing market, research on probiotics in aquaculture is burgeoning field. However, identification of new presents complex challenge, necessitating careful consideration both safety efficacy employed. This review aims delineate most utilized effective methods for identifying probiotics. The approach currently combines silico analysis genomic sequences with vitro vivo experiments. Two main categories genetic traits are analyzed using bioinformatic tools: those could harm or humans (e.g., toxin production, antibiotic resistance) offer benefits production helpful compounds, enzymes). Similarly, experiments allow us examine probiotic but also its effectiveness ability adhere epithelia). Finally, study effect fish growth health, including manipulate host's microbiota mitigate infections. comprehensively analyzes these diverse aspects, particular focus potential studying interaction between bacterial pathogens integrated methods.

Parkinson's disease, a classical motor disorder affecting the dopaminergic system of brain, has been as disease but this notion now viewed differently pathology begins in gut and then gradually moves up to brain regions. The microorganisms play critical role maintaining physiology from barrier integrity secretion microbial products that maintain healthy state. subsequently alters normal composition microbes causes deleterious effects ultimately trigger strong neuroinflammation nonmotor symptoms along with characteristic synucleopathy, pathological hallmark disease. Understanding complex pathomechanisms distinct established preclinical models is primary goal researchers decipher how exactly central effect; quest led many answered some open-ended questions for researchers. We summarize popular opinions contrasting views, concise footsteps treatment strategies targeting gastrointestinal system.
