Efficient and sustainable ventilation in urban tunnels is crucial for combating air pollution safeguarding human health. This study investigates the design factors impacting solar chimney performance to optimize efficiency. Experimental trials analyzed effects of blockage ratio, height, radiation on temperature distribution rate. The results demonstrate that increased height positively influence airflow velocity at outlet, enhancing ventilation. rise near absorber higher than closed glazing wall. Temperature within follows a distinctive horizontal two-piecewise semi-parabolic decay pattern, enabling accurate prediction profiles along cavity depth. Novel analytical models predict distribution, velocity, rate system, aiding precise optimization. Remarkably, ratio has limited impact rate, allowing disregarding vehicle tunnels. Matching width tunnel ensuring relatively high are emphasized optimal functionality. holds substantial implications system environments, promoting healthier more cities.

In the present study, cooling of a photovoltaic (PV) panel using phase change material (PCM) paraffin wax RT-42 attached to back surface is experimentally investigated. Two identical PV panels having maximum electrical generated power 40 W are employed perform outdoor experiments: reference (PVr) and another integrated with PCM (PV-PCM). The current implementation conducted different thicknesses (1, 2, 3 cm) varying tilt angle at 15°, 20°, 25°, 30°. infrared thermal camera used record temperature distribution over front PVr PV-PCM panels. Results indicate that highest appeared upper portion panels, whereas lower part shows lowest distribution. At 15ᴼ, panel's top side higher than bottom by 17.1%, 15.7%, 13.2% for thickness 1, and, cm, respectively. There also enhancement in output 15.8% cm Relatedly, elevating from 15° 30° improves efficiency 7.4%. Finally, enhances 14.4% compared
