This study aims to determine how different operating conditions for a fast pyrolysis process employing municipal green waste (MGW) in an auger reactor affect product yields, overall energy efficiency, and total exergy efficiency. In this study, range of conditions, including temperatures from 400 600 °C (in 50 increments), holding times 1 5 min 1-minute feedstock particle sizes 2 10 mm 2-mm increments) were used. MGW products characterised using separate pieces equipment accordance with applicable ASTM standards. The results demonstrate that yield 52.8% bio-oil 23.7% syngas can be achieved at 500 °C, respectively. At the biochar production was highest as 21.5%. Bio-oil yields improved times, whereas declined. size mm, efficiency its maximum (72.9%), while also (68.4%). As increased, dropped. conclusion, provides valuable insights into effects parameters on MGW, which used optimize increase
