Education can be considered a key element in reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through ecological and social generativity specifically among young generations. This study explores intricate relationships between generativity, environmental identity, agency, their collective impact on mental health of Chinese college students. Employing cross-sectional design, research enlisted cohort 2439 undergraduate students, aged 18 23 years, from various universities China. Utilizing validated instruments such as Ecological Generativity Scale, Social revised Environmental Identity Scale (IED-R), Agency/Pathways dimension Eco-Generativity Scale-Short Form, alongside Positive Mental Health for assessment, this conducted correlational mediational analyses to test four hypotheses. The results robustly supported first hypothesis, establishing significant predictor health, underscoring vital role stewardship enhancing personal well-being. Abstract As public criticism of the management surplus dairy calves increases, new approaches are required to improve calf welfare maintain industry’s license produce.
